MaxConsole is not a source.
Nothing is a source if you are like Saint Thomas and only believe what you see.
MaxConsole is not a source.
If you don't want your code to be stolen, don't make it public, PERIOD.
Same logic, if you don't want to see your TX being criticized, don't go to the internet and live in your own world.
Simple.
I don't think that ppl who buy software meant to be used for piracy cares about stealing. To all TX-haters-haters:
Your logic of 'after all, TX is good as it provides a simple solution to end users regardless the fact that codes were stolen' sucks so much.
It is lucky that the developers are still working on their projects and still making their projects publicly available (not referring to open source, but the end-product is open to public). What if they choose to shut down all the projects / share with friends only? Then phew - no more source for copy&paste, your TX OX would not be having updates. Or maybe wait for ages for them to figure it out.
And when you are looking for free solution? Sorry the developers are not making them public.
Simple as that.
I am super happy with the product, I have three Switch (SX OS ExFAT, Hekate FAT32 and one for LAKKA).
I don't give a damn about all those clowns ready to risk to brick 300 USD worth of hardware, but not OK spending 30 USD on a working product...
1. I haven't stolen any. Its legal in Czech RepublicHow many games have you stolen from gaming companies??
Who say it is about money?
Even if they are free of charge, they would still be criticized for stealing codes.
Wake up boy.
If its for your own use, nobody cares.Back to square one. You never stole anything? Re-read my post and answer honestly. Who are you to accuse anyone of stealing anything? You are a thief too.
google, google and again google
1. I haven't stolen any. Its legal in Czech Republic.
2. How many of them have I been selling without crediting devs?
Download != stealing. Easy as that.I am always surprised by the amount of lawyers on those forums... Stealing copyrighted material is legal in Europe? OK... It was either this or "I can't find it in my shithole country" usual excuse to justify being a thief.
You know, the fact you had to write a essay, just proves how much you love team xecutor and how much you want to defend them.
But I'll play along with your shenanigans And have my own little essay. let me talk about install able formats.
every homebrew scene I have seen with a digital format to install. Has always moved away from physical rips. 3ds moved to .cia. Wiiu didn't even use physical rips to any degree (by physical rip. I mean retain the original format.) xbox scene also moved away a little from physical rips as I've heard.
Now Let's talk about that signpatches. And your right, sx os supported it first. But! That was it, if we exclude the xci loader. Everything else was ripped from atmosphere. Which that was incomplete. The matches are the same the community had already found. You want to know how bad it matched? before sx os 1.4 I was able to find the same atmosphere Easter egg, screwed up a little bit. Some hex values were off. But a good portion the same. Not my own find since someone found it before I did, but a find I can confirm was real. Other countless finds of matches had been found.
>Oh right they're saying it's their own code. Oh but wait, it is their own code since they improved it with their own code.
So if I where to copy your incomplete essay, would that now mean it's my own work. Even though a good let's say, 70% of it was yours? Would you say it was my work. Even if large portions of my essay almost matches yours word for word but with the occasional filler word. Would that fly?
>Said the guy who supports piracy. Also, tx has done some fucking amazing job even if they used parts of atmosphere. We still don't have a release for atmosphere yet tx released sxos + a backup loader in June!
And here is the thing. Sx os, is not complete. If it's based off something incomplete, something unfinished, and didn't make any fixes and is updating to match someone elses work when they fix it. That counts as sx os being incomplete. If someone decided to release a beta of a game, and label it as the finished product. Would you call it a "full" game? The job your congratulating is not team excutor's job. Your congratulation the work of the community.
When someone says release in these days, in a world where things can be updated, and changed on the fly. Release doesn't equal complete. It just means it's out in some even if, broken form.
I'm not on my own high horse. If you want sx os, you can have it. I never said reinx was better than sx os. But the things I know, such as physical formats vs digitals, to the proof of sx os stealing code. That I can state as fact. I can also state that Team Executor has claimed everything as their own work. Which these facts can paint them in a negative light.
If its for your own use, nobody cares.
If you are sharing it, that's the problem.
Back to square one. You never stole anything? Re-read my post and answer honestly. Who are you to accuse anyone of stealing anything? You are a thief too.
Stealing ferrari - against the law.Sure, please steal a Ferarri, if this is for your own use and don't share it, this is cool too, right? Amazing logic. But this is legal according to you.
Let me guess, you are not running a law firm, right?
Oh man how old are you?
So whenever you are being scolded by someone you will use the same defense 'Have you not done X? So how dare you to judge me?'
Maybe you can try to use that same argument in case you are going to the court one day.
You seem to not understand the question, so I have to repeat it. Please answer the list of things I mentioned, and then let's talk about "stealing". We are all thieves, that is my point. Or maybe you are too entitled to even acknowledge this simple fact? You think the world owes you everything? That you deserve it? God help your poor soul.
