Oh, i already know VOCALOID. Compulsively spending nearly 400 euros for Rin Len Dex and Daina despite not knowing how to use them is proof. It's just PriPara has a story. And i have seen all 160+ episodes of it.
The thing is i like it. It's just i can't stop humming it everywhere i go and that is kinda embarassing.
As someone who's been in your situation (not for the show but humming girly anime openings out loud) I've found that playing a song constantly on an mp3 or something helps lower the catchiness of the song and makes you eventually stop repeating or playing it
I already have it in background 24/7...

I also bought the japanese 3ds game while i was in japan, a glowstick, and played the arcade lots of times to receive pritickets before my inevitable return to italy.
