Hacking [HELP] I wanted to downgrade to 11.4.0 from 11.8.x but i keep getitng an error.

First of all I have luma CFW on my n3dsxl
I named everything correctly but after every reboot i get an error ( 0xf96183fe )
and now i fear that i have bricked my 3ds

why would you want to downgrade? if it's for the whole freeshop thing, that's serverside, an old firmware won't do anything

Can you reach the luma config by holding select then booting the system?

Restore a pre downgrade nand backup if you can.

Otherwise, ctrnand-transfer an 11.5 ctr image.

If you want to know why your system is bricked, it's because that firm is from a new3DSxl. It has some incompatible titles like QTM that will crash the new2DSxl.
I bricked a dev new2ds like this, was able to fix it though. There were no dev firms for me to restore it with, so I had to do it manually title by title from godmode9.
A lot of fun that was.

Ah, I see. I guess the "original" 11.4 didn't have N2DS support, so they added it and released it on those consoles

It turns out that my external HDD broke... and my nand backup was on there. So i now I had to ctrnand-transfer but now i dont have any errors anymore. Thank you!
