Gaming no one could hear me talking on steam games

hey guys im having a problem with my usb mic and the problem is no one could hear me talk and im honestly confused on what im supposed to do to fix this

Check Sound->Recording and make sure the bar moves when you talk, set it as default device, and make sure it's not muted (and also see if there's a mute button on the mic itself and make sure that's not muted as well)

nvm I found it and everything is fine with that I just think that its steam

disable all audio input devices except for the one you are trying to use.
check in steam settings, there is options in there for mic volume, check if the selected device is your current mic.
maybe push to talk is enabled, check that.
