I recently noticed that on the PS3Xploit forum, there was apparently a new way to hack your PS3 Super Slim. However I was wondering if this was achievable without an internet connection on the PS3.

You can host the exploit locally so you don't need an internet connection. This can be done with a router and a PC, or with a phone with a wifi hot spot and running a web server.
