Gamescom is live, and big announcements are starting to be revealed. One of which was the "special reveal" for A Hat in Time. Months ago, when the game was newly released, developer Gears for Breakfast went out of their way to state that A Hat in Time would never release for the Nintendo Switch. However, their announcement today has shown them going back on their word, as the game will be coming to the Switch "soon". The other existing version of the game on PC will also be getting new DLC in the form of "Seal the Deal", which includes six new time rifts, and a new difficulty mode. This DLC will launch on September 13, and will be free for 24 hours, and then will be $5 afterwards. Local coop is also coming to the game on the same day.

A paid DLC starts with a free period allowing everyone who is informed about gaming in general or is just a huge fan of the game and therefore follows the A Hat in Time-news gets it for free? Gives the impression of a nice studio and probably will help to sell more of the base game during that time due to people to people propaganda.

Slightly annoying since I bought this game for the PC because it was stated it wasn't coming to the switch.

After the dev was a butt on twitter about it not that long ago, I had lost hope for a Switch port. Now I'm happy I still haven't gotten the game xD

A FAQ opened a few minutes ago stating that there are currently no plans to release the DLC on any platform other than PC.

as google search gave no results in that regards on the first three pages. If they did exactly used that word I assume there would be at least discussion threads about it Are you sure about the exact wording as bastards?
