So everywhere i look for pokemon black/white 2 to work on ndsbootstrap says it requires an AP patch. I have applied the ap patch to the rom, and it does this, after pressing fight it crashes the game as well. Any reason for this?

That might be the rom you have. PM me and I might be able to help you see whether or not it's really the rom.

Is it still possible to somehow access DS-Scene's lists, now that the website seems to be offline? It was a nice way to discover new games and check what groups released what.

Thank you for the repack!

The mega file linked doesn't have RetroGameFan's latest update, would you be able to update it to have his latest update with 811 games?

If it lets me attach it, I've got a copy of the latest version from archive.org's archive of filetrip attached with all of the cache files trimmed out

That looks like an older build to me. 1205 < 1215

I opened it again to check and it says in app that it's build 1215, I just kept the same zip name as RetroGameFan had on Filetrip, which I guess was wrong, all that really matters though is that the offsets.dsapdb gets updated, so if you want to keep the build of the program that you've got and just update that file that'd work too

Can I have a link to that archive.org version instead?
Edit: Nevermind, I got it. I'll have it updated on July 7th.
Edit 2: It is updated. Almost forgot.

Added another link. Do I even need to maintain this anymore?
Hello.:)

If you be so kind, please yes.Your work is VERY IMPORTANT in TWiLight Menu times now.
Unfortunately most of AP Patches users only "WANT" patches but did not care ,where they from and that the AP Tool is "of course" there and UP TO DATE.

I appreciate your time for maintaining it and hope you do this in the future too.

THANK YOU.:)

retrogamefan recently updated the AP database on DS-Scene, and the tool itself can self-update (if you start an older version, it'll automatically prompt you to install the update). I'm not sure why you include the CMP cheat database because CMP vanished into the ether years ago. DeadSkullzJr on this forum maintains updated cheat databases: https://gbatemp.net/threads/deadskullzjrs-flashcart-cheat-databases.488711/
As such I don't see much of a point in this 'repack'.

As far as I'm aware, user registration on DS-Scene is also still possible.

As for your remark about it being a shame that the tool only supports DS and 3DS games (at least, the 3DS games that were released before there was no one left to add them to DS-Scene's database), sure, it would have been nice for it to support everything under the sun, but DS-Scene is just a DS/3DS site, and anyone involved in the tool's development (really just 99% retrohead) has moved on long ago. In fact, the site itself is being hosted free of charge by someone else. The main problem I see is that if DS-Scene goes down, you'll forever lose the ability to grab info about the release (cover art, save size, DSi functionality, etc) from DS-Scene's database and the tool will look a bit gray and lifeless. It would be really nice to see further development of the tool, the site, the databases, but the harsh reality is that we're all doing different things now.

i'm using latest bootstrap and Twilight Menu on DSi I can't even get my game to boot, every game i have works except for Pokémon Black 2, tried clean rom, patched, trimmed, untrimmed and nothing, just balck on top screen and white screen on bottom screen. However the rom works fine on my R4i.

The version of the AP database being provided via the updater is older (2.1.5) than the latest (2.1.6) version. The CMP cheat database is included because that's what the program comes with. User registration and some updating features at the time of this thread's creation were not working properly. I find it hard to believe that retrohead is hosting DS-Scene for free. Domains and server hosting cost money.

retro isn't hosting it anymore, someone else is (and he's doing it free of charge). Otherwise we would have shut down a few years back because retro was indeed paying everything out of his own pockets.

You're right about the AP database. @retrogamefan, can you also add the latest version of the AP database to DS-Scene?

I'm playing Black 2 just fine. How are you patching it?
