If you believe if a flat earth, how would you explain timezones? Or the day cycle? Or the fact that we'd effectively be standing on a near vertical slope of the other side of the earth to maintain the same gravitational force/pressure?

Honestly I feel like this should be treated like a serious question. There are a fuckton of questions they need to explain, but often just avoid explaining. Rarely ever do I suggest pressuring someone their believes, but Flat Eathers (and Gateway users) need their believes questioned.

Yeah I wrote this as a serious question, anytime I ask a real flat earthed these questions they don't respond

Allow me to explain using this diagram:
1TDo8Mw.png

In the middle we have the Earth, which is flat. On the top we can see North America, South America, and that big island. Asia and Europe are on the other side.

As you can see, the sun is only shining on the top of the Earth in this diagram, so it's day there in North America. On the other side of the Earth is the moon, which does generate its own light, shining on Europe and Asia. The moon and sun slowly revolve around the Earth in the directions indicated by the pink arrows, allowing a day cycle.

Somebody decided the time of day should depend on when it's day.

I don't know what you're talking about but you've clearly been brainwashed by the evil scientists and their "theories."

---

If the Earth isn't flat, explain this:

That's right. No matter how you look at it, that's a flat Earth.
If the Earth was a pentagon, like some claim, it would look like this when you go outside:

This... is a joke, right? You can't seriously believe the earth is flat.

Nah they answer all of them with "itz just faalz!!1!"
Like congratulations but cherry picking what's true and what's not doesn't really help

Good question, I would like to know too, but heliocentric model is more absurd.
For example how the moon and sun despite so much distance we can observe the same size? (at least i have to be a Gateway user no matter which model i choose, because I don't believe in coincidence)
I guess flat earthers just have better eye then those indoctrinated scientists.
Did you know that 100 years ago teachers can't teach that earth is a sphere?

That must be rough. Productive I'm sure but hard to balance with daily life

@Maximumbeans, Indeed. I've been working on getting this Infecutus chip to work on my PS2. But after soldering, I realised that a plastic piece was missing from the power ribbon cable to the power and eject buttons.
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
Now I could go with soldering the contacts from the cable to the connector on the mobo, but doesn't sound like a good permanent solution.
  • Maximumbeans @ Maximumbeans:
Man, that's beyond my brain  I'm no good with hardware for now. I'd like to get into hardmods in future though
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
@Maximumbeans, Maybe start practice soldering. Get a cheap-ass soldering iron and follow some good YouTube tutorials.

Least my experience has gotten better than over a decade ago. My iron would constantly bump into components and break them.
  • Maximumbeans @ Maximumbeans:
Sounds good. I actually did soldering but like 16 years ago for school so uuuuh probably rusty haha
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
@Maximumbeans, Same here. I did soldering at school from a teacher who I honestly liked since he had plenty of good electronics experience.
