Hardware connecting to a router without internet but i am having issues

i am trying to use my other router to make a netwrok but without connecting to the internet so i can use FTP without worrying about connecting to nintendo's servers

so i dug my TP link (tl wr740n) and managed to create a netwrok, the switch find it and connect to it, however because there is no internet it gives me this message

what should i do?

Get your own dns tunnel application on pc and connect your switch to it through proxy.

Unfortunately the switch doesnt retain an ip address without a valid internet connection, so you are gonna have to do some leg work.

Oh, forgot about that option on devmenu, going to try it.

Just tried it, it's the same as the normal wireless setup.

I have ASUS router and I use parental control to disable internet access for Switch MAC address and it works to have LAN access only. Hovewer I need to manually connect to wifi network each time Switch wakes up from sleep mode, because wifi with no internet access is disconnected during sleep.
When I connect to wifi manually from menu, I get the message that there is no internet access, but when I select continue Switch is trying to open a web browser. Then I close it and Switch stays connected to wifi with LAN access only (until it enter the sleep mode again).
