so I hacked my Wii got the homebrew channel and I am on system menu 4.3e,
Is there any possible way to play games on an sd card?, I have USB LOADER GX AND CFG and Wiiflow all don't seem to work properly. I managed to get Super Mario all stars 25th anniversary for the wii working on usb loader gx without changing any settings, (my micro sd card is connected to an adapter for usb loader and all that)
All my files for homebrew are on another sd card which I leave inside my wii for emulator game (snes, nes etc...)
I know it sound dumb but my micro sd card which is 32gb is very retarded it seems to delete certain files of it automatically, it may be the cause but I doubt it.
I have a 7gb usb which I want to play smash bros brawl on but it wont fit so I would think it would be better to put it on my micro sd card.
I boot usb loader from channel not the forwarder.

Any Help would be appreciated :)

Yes, it's possible. I've gotten this to work with CFG USB Loader, but not with USB Loader GX. Here's how.

Prerequisite: You should get your ISO file in WBFS format.

1. Create a wbfs folder on the root of your SD card.
2. Create a Folder within it in this format "Game Name [GAMEID]". For example, if I wanted one for an NTSC-U copy of SSBB, I could put "Super Smash Bros Brawl [RSBE01]" as the directory name.
3. Inside that put your .wbfs game. It should be titled GAMEID.wbfs. Following my previous example, it would be RSBE01.wbfs.

Using Wii Backup Manager is an easy way to make sure everything is formatted and named correctly for this.

Will it still work if I download as iso and then use wii backup manager?

Of course. You'll just have to convert your ISO, which Wii Backup Manager should handle for you.

It may even be possible to use the game in .ISO format somehow, but I haven't explored that option much.

Another important note, since your SD card is likely formatted to FAT32, you will need to set file split size to 4GB or lower when you're creating the WBFS file. FAT filesystems have a filesize limit of 4GB.

I just redownloaded Wii Backup Manager. Seems it is set to 4GB by default. You shouldn't need to do anything special. It's in settings, though, under the Options menu, if you want to check for yourself. In the Fat32/NTFS tab.

I also just remembered why I use WBFS format and not ISO on the SD card. The ISO files are usually more than 4GB, and my SD card is FAT32 formatted. They wouldn't work on the card.

I can do a write-up of how to do the whole process in Wii Backup Manager if you end up needing further help. Let me know.

Thanks I checked it also mines on 4gb would I need to change it on Configurable usb loader?
I got smash bros with the wiimfi patch on it is in iso format I went to transfer and went wbfs file and directed it to my sd card In the wbfs folder it automatically made and named the folder with the right id so after its finished I just plug the sd card into my usb adpter put it in the bottom port of my wii boot cfg and open the game?

yes, it supports iso too :)
and ciso (with hermes cios)
Fancy always tries to help, but often gives bad info :(
too bad you don't know more to help better, you always make the effort to want to help. just be sure you tried it yourself first before affirming something.

just a precision if you want to use games on SD : be sure to not install d2x v10-alt (rev53). it's not working good with that revision.
if you are on wii, install v8 instead of v10, so you don't have to care about which version to install.

unless you want to add screenshot! or write more information. It might even end in my full hacking guide to help more users.

I found out that when I add files to my Micro sd card (32gb) it automatically deletes files from it.
I am on windows 10 and have currently before only found this problem on this micro sd card.
YouTube was no help. So if any users could point me to the right direction

which brand is your SD card?
are you sure it's a "real" card? there are fake cheap chinese copy which tells you it's a big capacity, but it's a small one and could just delete files to make room and fake the big capacity.

try another SD card.

Sure I will do it is a sandisk it may be fake
Man, sandisk. I know any brand can have fake cards, but somehow sandisk seems to have the most. You should download h2testw and check your card to be sure. I also recommend running any USB/SD card you buy through it, because some cards are completely fake and won't even copy anything, but some seem to work at first but have a smaller capacity, as @Cyan said.

I didn't know it supports ISOs too, sorry. Also, just saying but, who even still uses hermes cIOSes? Though, I guess I can still one of those too on my Wii.

almost nobody does now, as d2x base57 works with musical games too (hermes was used mostly for these games: sing it, just dance, etc.).
it's also a good thing d2x woks with all games, as hermes cIOS are not possible to use on vwii, that's mostly why it's not used anymore.

But (just to be clear) I didn't say Hermes was needed for ISO. the loader can load iso with d2x.
cISO on the contrary is a special compressed ISO format developed by hermes to be used with his (her?) uLoader.
I think the Wii's cISO is different than the Gamecube's cISO format. (makes me remember I need to allow listing of ciso file extension for gamecube games in USBLoaderGX as nintendont can read them).
