Hacking Hoping to sell my 3DS, confused about how to remove CFW

I'm a noob when it comes to removing CFW as i've never done it before. I used the seedminer method to mod my console and only used it for freeshop. Do I just reset the console or what additional steps do I need to take?

Yes, but with all of the rumors of using freeshop banning consoles and freeshop having issues makes me uncertain about selling the console to someone who may not know it. I'm also not really understanding what is happening with freeshop myself.

Where was you planning to sell it?
One thought could be using somthing like facebook (Or whatever a equivilent of gumtree is here in the uk, craislist? no idea) And mention it already has cfw installed to up the price a little bit ^^

As long it is not banned, and you don't have any NNID link to it, you can just use FBI to install CIA format games. It would a different story if you sold the console saying it is not banned, and it was banned.

You can sell it without having Freeshop on it, just that you have to link the buyer where to get cia format games, but people on the forum can't help you where to get it.

If you want to revert your 3DS to original stock firmware then use Godmode to do this. You run a script to revert it all. Then reset the 3DS to factory defaults.

Just write the person who ever buy it an explanation on how to use the console and where to get cia games, and don't show your serial # if you sell it on ebay, there will be people flagging the listing but you still get away with selling CFW stuff on ebay, I sold a few CFW 3ds already.

Personally I feel like if the person you’re selling to doesn’t know about custom firmware etc then it’s easier for them not to know.

Now basically now a day, since freeshop is pretty much dead, you have to find 3ds game in cia format online , and put in on your 3ds, I put it inside a folder named cias, you just load up FBI and go to that folder and select the game and click install cia and delete the cia if you want it deleted after installation.

Id suggest keeping the CFW and filling up the storage with games and then sell.

Not really neccesary to fill up games I never bother to filled up the SD card with games and still sells it, that way you don't need to include any large SD card. You could install some games that the buyer request.
