Hi,

you can access the PS4 file system via the FTP payload. The fake packages are located here:

Games path: user/app/CUSAXXXXX/app.pkg

Patch path: user/patch/CUSAXXXXX/patch.pkg

Just use an FTP tool (e.g. FileZilla) to transfer them back to your PC.

I am not aware of a tut, but it is pretty self explanatory. Just launch the FTP payload like you load HEN and it will display the connection details (ip address and port). User name and password can stay blank.

Wired connection doesn’t matter too much. I have a wired gigabit connection and still get only 20 MB/s out of the connection.

You can use App2usb to move the package on to an external HDD.
He wants to “download” the pkg file to give it to a friend. So IMO App2Usb is too tedious for that since he would have to reinstall the pkg for himself to have it back on the internal HDD. Plus the risk of configuring something wrong and ending up with ALL pkgs on the external drive... ;)

My PS4 is always connected to the router via a LAN cable. So I do not have to change anything for FTP. just connect your PS4 to the “internet” somehow, same for your PC. As long as they are in the same network, you can reach the PS4 by using the IP address displayed on screen after launching the FTP payload.

If he follow direction for how to use app2usb then he wouldn't have all his games on the external.

Problem is that if you do not put a config file in the right directory (which is not root as some tuts say but PS4 folder), then everything will be moved to external. And the config file is all but self explanatory. It’s just not worth the hassle for getting 1 fpkg file.

He said some of his games so it is not one.
