Background: 32gb Wii U, CBHC. Noob.

1. What is the current best guide on how to install Retroarch to a CBHC Wii U, how to prepare the SD card, where to place the games, etc? I see lots of old instructions on this, wanted the most current one available.

2. I recently made some gamecube injects using Teconmoon, which uses Nintendont. I have a Wii U Pro Controller that I want to use on these gamecube games. When I load a game using the pro controller, it always defaults to the Wii U gamepad being controller #1, and the Wii U Pro controller being controller #2. How do I make it so that I can use the Pro Controller as controller #1? Don't know how to turn off the wii u gamepad without turning off the entire system.

Does this have anything to do with selecting "Wii U gamepad" when it prompts you after selecting a game? If I say no, it then asks if I want to use the Wii remote, no option for Wii U pro controller.

3. There are a few NES, SNES, N64 and GBA games that I would like to make injects, so I can play them directly from the Wii U home screen. What is the latest and greatest means of doing this? Any link to a guide would be greatly appreciated.

4. Is there a list anywhere of compatible N64 games on the Wii u?

Almost done!

Hi. I think I can answer 2 of those questions:

Yes, this is exactly that. The vWii (which is what the Wii U uses to load Nintendon't) will always pick the Gamepad as player 1 when active. Best option is to say no, then use a wiimote if you have one to open it (while the Pro Controller is synced as player 1) and it should work. If you don't have a wiimote... I'm afraid you're out of luck.

4. Is there a list anywhere of compatible N64 games on the Wii u?

Yes, there is a wiki in gbatemp for N64 compatibility. Unfortunately, I can't link since I'm a newb. It should be easy to find, tho.

Hope that helps!
