Hello.

I have a weird problen.
When inserting a disc, everything seems to be normal, sound to activate the disc drive and the disc also starts spinning.
But after a few seconds, it stops spinning and the disc channel says that I need to insert a Wii or Gamecube disc.
I tried Mario Kart Wii and Smash. Haven't tried any other.

But when I start Gecko OS and launch the disc from there, it works, 100% of the time, can play as long as I want without loading errors or other disc errors.
What is this weird problem lol.

Thanks.

It should take a min or 2. Not 30, you can safely force power down the wii if it hangs here.

Since even syscheck is having issues, I suspect some of your IOSs are out of whack (missing, stubbed, u installed, etc.). This might also explain why games from the disc channel are failing but some homebrew is still working. You should update all your IOSs to their latest non-stubbed official versions.

NOTE: The reason why it says Region: NTSC-U on 4.1E Wii is because I changed the Video and game mode to NTSC a long time ago already.
Had no issues, so it's not because of that.

Yeah, if you left AREA to european, that's fine (which is how it must be set while using an European launcher)

Any funny patches enabled in Priiloader? Don't think there's ever been a "block discs" one but I would give it a good review...
