For the love of all that is holy, don't "recalibrate" lithium batteries, there's a protection circuit in the unit already that keeps the cell within healthy parameters. If you feel that the battery reading is incorrect, run the it down by just turning a low-spec game on and keep running it until the system fully shuts down, then fully charge the system with an appropriate charger, preferably the stock one - that's all the calibration the system "needs", and you should avoid doing it unnecessarily as you're cycling the cell for no reason. You're not doing a lithium cell any good by draining it artificially, the safety circuit will shut it off when it's empty, but there's quiescent current to account for. Ideally you shouldn't keep your console discharged at any point.

They aren't discharging the cell, the payload runs code to tell the battery ic to soft disconnect the battery, otherwise the OP needs to open his switch and disconnect the battery terminals and then plug it back in.
