With the new strides made in DSI, is it possible to unbrick without a backup? I know 3DS can mostly be restored without a backup, but has DSI come this far? (Obviously a hardmod would be needed).

You can unbrick most bricks with unlaunch + nand backup. But everything else requires pretty much a hardmod. And I think that the current tools to restore NAND backups aren't safe.
Is unlaunch usable without a backup? I may still have the console specific keys for encrypting if i could just "make" a new nand?
my dsi doesn't boot it just power on the blue light and the screens are in black help!!
