Im not too sure on whats going on with seedminer. I just know its put a temporary halt on luma3ds for the time being.

well, new firm means that the b9stool will be crippled until that is worked on, thats if the DSiWare injection still works

Update your device by going to System Settings, then “Other Settings”, then going all the way to the right and using “System Update”
Updates while using B9S + Luma (what you have) are safe
If this gives you an error, set your DNS settings to “auto”
If this still gives you an error, follow CTRTransfer, then try updating again

Not brick. You just need to wait until new compiled luma3ds is released or your system wont boot with what everyone has currently.

what exactly is that file? I have read a lot about it and all the guides say that you need it but non of them explains what it does?

Yes, seedminer still works on 11.8 and b9sTool has been updated to work with it.
Hope our mining volunteers haven't split tho
