Apparently mntorankusu posted this ages ago, but let his thread and project die.
threads/padsend-for-ds-wii-pc-application.295119

Since I thought this was a cool idea I wanted to try it out, but got stuck when the gamecube controller never showed up on my PC.
mntorankusu gave a good documentation about it's datastructure, so I was able to figure out this myself using vJoy instead of PPjoy.
I use mntorankusu's homebrew.DOL to broadcast the button inputs to 192.168.1.255 on port 9501.
My 'server' application is written in python and is using vJoy API to create a virtual device.

  • A, B, X and Y can be read from using gamecube controller connected to Wii
  • START can be read from using gamecube controller connected to Wii
  • D-PAD partly works, it only got 9 different values on X-Axis/Y-Axis
  • There is only one virtualized controller yet, so it's not support multiple controllers yet

Little vid showing what I could reach by now:

I'm looking for friendly helpers.!!!
