Nah still use my WiiU almost daily and I STILL hold out hope that we'll get our blessed PSX dynarec/core.
I think things have gone silent here because there are no new features being announced specific to the WiiU port, the last thing I heard was some gblues under the hood stuff? :P
I said it before my WiiU is basically my baby and will always be in rotation and next to my TV.

But I will plead one more time to the dev gods :P Please compile/port an N64/PS1 Core to WiiU, We were sooo close heh and the interest is very much still there.

for n64, vc inject, wii64 and not64 works well with most of the game, no ?
with those three, I play all game of n64 I need

don't try psx emulator yet

For most cases Wii64/Not64 does its job well but there are a few games (mostly Mario 64 rom hacks) that don't run fullspeed on either, even with Wii CPU unlocked.
As for the WiiU N64 VC I just cant get passed the 4:3/dark screen, that might seem nit picky but there you go :P
Out of N64 or PS1 I'd much rather the PS1 core though.. I think we all would?

FAT32 with 32 or 64 k cluster size.
I have 64 k and never faced any problems.

Use FATGui to format it.

I absolutely second that.

Tbh I love the fact that I can have all those retro games with me any time on the Switch (hands down, it is the best console for RetroArch, at least when RetroArch gets super stable and GPU drivers there) and the fact that I can play them wirelessly with those fantastic 8bitdo SNES pads is just a great thing for a lazy couch fuq like me but I'll still have the Wii U connected to the TV, use it pretty often and love it as much as I loved it when I bought it if not even more.

And no matter how good RetroArch might become on the Switch, the Wii U will always be the best console for GC, Wii and Wii U games, period!

Also the pretty nice thing about RetroArch is that I can have it on both (Wii U and Switch) and I only need to sync the savefile/savestate folders between them to continue my savegames, which is what I'm doing from time to time with FTP homebrews on both consoles.
(would be a massively cool feature if both console's RetroArch versions would support NAS as a place for saves! *hint*hint*)

I know I made this posting a thousand times now and I never get tired of doing it again. :P

yes, it's most likely the problem, your wii u is probably like mine : it hates micro sd cards, try a non-micro sd card and let me know if it works

I did the following: I installed the micro sd in the usb adapter and plugged it into the wiiu, formatted it using the wiiu, put it in the pc and formatted it by the windows in fat32 32 cluster, came back to be without errors
