Hey everyone so I have been reading up and watching vids and I'm going to get a wii u and mod it with the haxchi method. Does is make much difference whether I get the 8gb or 32 gb model. I'm getting the 8 for £75 and the 32gb £80 So I was thinking of getting the 32 for the little extra as maybe the little space extra could come in handy. Would I be able to install games on the internal memory aswell as the sd card? Also are most sd cards compatible? I will eventually hook up an external hard drive but in the mean time maybe I'll run games from sd. Also can I have nes, snes, n64, game cube, wii and wii u games all on the same hard drive? Any help is greatly appreciated.

it's really just a no brainer if it's only £5 for an extra 24gb of storage and in my opinion the black one is much cooler and goes better with accessories such as the gamecube to wii u adapter

Not only does the 32 GB Wii U look better, it also can have BotW installed to the internal memory which is way cooler, believe me.
I had the Wind Waker Edition when it first launched. Gave it to my nephew when I got the switch, he likes BoTW and Smash on the Wii U. Never get the 8GB version. Please don't. just get the 32gb version. 3x the space for a few dollars? I'd have to be a retard to get the 8GB version.

I doubt you have BotW installed to your internal memory on your 8 GB Wii U.
No obviously not but on an external HD and the 32GB on the system memory and noticed no difference in loading or playing. The internal storage makes no difference when hooked up to an external drive so it all really depends on if you prefer the white or the black. I prefer the white as it doesn't show up all the marks as the black one does and i have a matching official white wii u pro controller now.

So you compare yourself to a disabled person if you chose a white one over a black one? You are what we English call a Knobjockey!

And also just to add they did actually do a White 32GB model so if you prefer the white look you can still get one. Was previously sold on the Nintendo Shop.

32GB is largely useless, you're going to need an external HDD either way. A couple big games will fill up the internal storage right away.
But, the 32GB version comes with a couple extras besides the increased storage (vertical stand, gamepad stand, let me know if I'm forgetting something) so it's worth paying a little more for that alone. And IMO black looks way better, I hate white devices, but that's just my opinion.

If it was £50 more I would say go with the cheaper one. Originally the price difference was along those lines, but it came with Nintendoland which made it a decent deal. In fact the 8GB version sold so poorly they stopped selling it quickly.
I imagine anyone selling a used Wii U will probably split up the bundle though, if they don't sell all their games along with the Wii U as a bundle, which would obviously cost a lot more.
For £5 more though it's a no brainer.

At that small of a price difference, just get whichever one you think looks nicest. You're going to want an external drive either way, maybe even two external drives if you want to load it with both Wii U stuff and vWii/Gamecube stuff.
