i created an ecc (worked) then tried to write an ecc then it timed out on all blocks. so i closed jrunner program opened it up again thinking the program was the problem. then tried to create ecc but it a asks to select a file. i am confused.
the console will not power on anymore
i am trying to write the retail nand but when u click write nand i select falcon then i continue. and nothing. all reads and dumps were text book until trying to write ecc. i have double back ups of originals.

Did you try unplugging the programmer or pressing the power kill button on the side? And if you don't mind, please upload the solder pics as thumbnails. Usually these issues have to do with soldering, but the programmer or Jrunner can freeze up or glitch every once in awhile. If you read the nand and it decrypted the flash config, then something is going on now that wasn't happening before. Also, was the programmer drivers and required files installed correctly?

yes they were installed correctly. (drivers). solder points are good. i did unplug the programmer. when i want to read the ecc it asks for me to select a file. i have no clue what file. so i am stuck there. I really dont want to mess this falcon up. so i have put it on hold for a while till i find a modder or can get a step by step noob proof from this point on. this 360 looks and smells new. not a hairline scratch or single smudge. that is why I dont want to brick this board. i already have twice but brought it back by reflashing the retail nand. (thank God) each time i read the ecc then write the ecc it bricks it and time to reflash it. i cannot figure it out.

Well, I still would like some thumbnail pics of the soldering and setup, and idk what video you're going by, but in order to help I/we need information. We can't magically discern what the problem is. Are you leaving the xbox plugged in for the ecc flash? Why are you trying to read the ECC? Also, the only file I could see you needing to select is the falcon.ecc file. Pics would help a lot.

Try using this with the Advanced tab up top. Select custom nand/cr functions, write, 16, and unzip this and browse to it then write it.

i am following this youtube video.

watch?v=UephTE0nASg&t=8s

The ecc was just following this tutorial.

the console is plugged in and not powered on.

now when i read the ecc it asks for me to select a file. makes no sense because it just read from the console before

pics as followed MEDIAFIRE
CANT PUT LINKS DUE TO STUPID RULES ( my links are spam)

btw i thank you for hanging in with me.

i have been told by modders that my beta 7 jrunner program could b the issue, since there was a buggy version out there.

I'm so glad I paid someone to install the jtag for me on my falcon many moons ago. No offense, but this seems like such a hassle, meanwhile mine's been running like a charm for a decade or so. Hope you get your issues sorted out.

Go look through the RGH 1.2 section I put in the How to hack your 360 thread sticky. See if anything sounds different or if any pics there help.

LOL. my ps2 fmcb mod was a pain when it should have been easy as pie. now i never need the forums on that because of so many man hours custom configuring things.

--------------------- MERGED ---------------------------

can you link me a good working copy of jrunner software? i am on beta 7. and it is a mess. (BTW) thank you for your hack a 360 tutorial. I am reading it now.

All of the solder points are in the guide. Does the Matrix chip have a kinda big rectangular metal piece? Thats the clock if it does, and you'll need to disable it. Other than that, I can't think of anything else you might have trouble with.

Yep it has a crystal clock. You’ll have to remove that 0 ohm resistor up and between D and E. Can you try going through step by step with the guide we have here otherwise? I think I wrote it pretty understandibly. Also, you can upload pics straight onto your posts with the upload a file option.

somebody was saying i could just avoid soldering the pll point on chip instead of floating that resistor. is this true?
