This week's hardware sales

Not much to talk about in week 26 of the Japan top 20 software chart. Mario Tennis Aces enjoys its second week at #1, despite dropping 60% in sales when compared to last week's launch. Minecraft Switch moves up to 2nd place (what) and Ys VIII: Lacrimosa of Dana Switch port debuts at #7 but barely shifts 6k copies.

Switch hardware sales continue to rise, breaking 50k, and we also see a small spike in 3DS and Vita units sold.

Plus, PC Gaming isn't as big a deal in Japan as it is in other countries, so it's likely that many there haven't even played Minecraft until now. Though, to be fair, the game has received previous console ports, so it is a bit odd, but not entirely unfathomable.

I had the same idea before I just had trouble implementing it back then, maybe I should try again. (The text was raw text and html, no bbcode).

And if you were wondering:
LTD is Lifetime To Date. All sales since the console was born.
YTD is Year To Date, from January 1st up to now.
Last YTD is the same time period last year.

I doubt the PS5 would launch in 2019 when the PS4 is still selling so well in the rest of the world.
Also, it's not really a big if, the Switch is selling insanely well continuously, I highly doubt it's upwards climb will suddenly stop and I'm really sure a PS5 wouldn't stop sales seeing as how Japan is very mobile-centric.

i agree, still too soon for ps5
From what I've heard, NVidia said they won't release next gen GPU for still one or two years because the 10XX gen was still powerful enough for newer and futures games
IDK about AMD, but if there are no new gpu being released, i doubt there will be new console
But that's just what I think
