Team-Xecuter Releases SX OS v1.2

TX Releases Another Update To Their SX OS, with the big feature everyone was waiting for 'CARD2' support!
txos12.jpg

Earlier this weekend, we were informed by TX that they were busy putting the finishing touches on yet another major update to their very popular SX OS, and now with v1.2 you have what everyone was screaming for since the first release, the latest 'card2' games! :)
It's been a busy week at the Team-Xecuter headquarters, after releasing v1.1 of SX OS we got (yet again) a good amount of feedback from the community.

Let's jump straight into the changes for version 1.2 of SX OS:
  • Added Card2 support
A small dozen (currently released) games were not compatible with SX OS, we tracked down these incompatibilities with these so-called "CARD2" games and fixed them. You can now fully enjoy `Sushi Striker' and other games!
  • Added downgraded fuse support
In v1.1 we added a protection against programming fuses. What was not added was a bypass for the "fuse checks", this has now been addressed. Advanced users who want to enjoy "downgraded" firmwares can now do so!
  • Improved homebrew compatibility
Without going into complicated details, homebrew compatibility has been improved once again. Give your problem homebrew titles another spin, and let us know if any problems remain. We're sure this should be a big improvement.
As always, updating SX OS is simply a matter of replacing "boot.dat" in the root of your microSD card. No need to re-activate your license or anything.

Stay tuned for more updates. We're far from done!

Currently I would say the 400GB Sandisk SDXC.
But you have catch it when it's on sale.

https://www.amazon.com/SanDisk-Ultra-400GB-Adapter-SDSQUAR-400G-GN6MA/dp/B074RNRM2B/ref=sr_1_1?s=electronics&ie=UTF8&qid=1526413836&sr=1-1&keywords=sandisk+400gb+ultra+microsdxc&th=1

In The Netherlands I can get it just a little bit cheaper. (Saves roughly 5-8 $)
Do you really need to carry all those games with you at all time? The XCis are like cartridges, they are not installed - you can removed and swapped with other games. I hope TX will add external hard-drive support for the dock in the future, this way we can drag and drop the XCI between the Switch and Hard-drive without having to remove the SDcard.

Without creating another thread (I've used the search function and haven't found the answer):

If you use version 1.1 (well 1.2 now), do you still need to use the old method to prevent your fuses from being burnt or can you just update your console using the regular system update?

(The console is on 2.0 btw. Would, obviously, be updated to the latest).

I have had multiple situations where I did not have a game with me and people where more interested in playing that.
So yes, to some extent. It's a convenience thing for me really. And to also keep the carts at home, where I can't lose, misplace etc them.
I dont need a dock usb solution for now ;)

Whenever you use a regular system update, fuses will be burnt (if you get to a new first digit in the FW version).
maybe stupid question (although some say they don't exist):

can't we update in autorcm/hekate-whatever free cfw thing/sx os, so that the switch gets updated, but because we have the hacked bootloader set up, no fuses get burnt?

has kim jong dumped the snipperclips dlc yet?

Trump thinks that Kim is an idiot wasting time looking for hosts to patch his games. He pulled out his Switch with SX OS and showed Kim how it's done. Kim marvelled at the progress that money can bring. Together they shake hands and play Snipperclips.

DK works with Rev001 dump
2x Labo BBB - black screen (maybe bad dump)
Tennis+other type2 games work.

All homebrew including gcdumptool and nxshell 0.3 work just fine.

I myself wonder that too. If it does, you could have your 2.X firmware dumped and play on 5.1 without issues, and just restore once a better way(?) to launch comes for the lower firms.

Boot up Hakate payload, choose "launch firmware", and then "clear log".
I should do that everytime I go OFW and want to go online? It'd make sense to have SX OS automatically clear logs on every boot, that is when the payload is started where you select cfw or OFW. Would make things more comfortable.

Sorry for ignorance, but what is burnt fuse?
The Switch's CPU contains e-fuses which will burn depending on to which firmware you update, if the bootrom encounters that the emmc has a firmware that mismatches the amount of burnt fuses, it'll panic and refuse to boot and thus prevents downgrading

so is this done to avoid downgrade?

If I use CFW and want to upgrade the system, do I have to wait for an upgrade of the hakers?

that was quick, this is why i recommend these guyss product..

unlike GW it does not crash, and also they deliver updates quite quick..
thx team x.

Money is a great motivator, if they really have over 100k licenses sold then that's a lot of cash.

What's the cheapest license $25? That's 2.5million and that's before any mention of the dongle sales
