Just tried to use SX OS with a 1.0.0 firmware, and no SD card detected once under CFW.
I can boot the "boot.dat", but once on the custom firmware,
I got the message asking to update console to support the exfat.

I'm wondering if I miss something or if Xecuter didn't think about this?
(because SX OX supposed to be 1.0.0 compatible, but use a fat32 isn't a real solution)

Thanks.

I had the same problem on 3.0.0. The only way to me to let the SD and games working is to update to 5.1.0.

After the update the autoRCM Disappeared bit and I had to use again the jig. But after that all is working great. SD and games founded.

The only thing is that I can find how to restore the autoRCM again!

yeah I was thinking about this, but several post confirm that the exfat support is a "separate update",
So maybe a way exist to update just the exfat support.

as I said isn't a real solution, I got some nice xci, and I don't want to split it
This is less of an SXOS issue and more a limitation of the Switch. You need to select an exFAT option within the switch; for it to connect to the internet and allow it to fetch a license for exFAT usage.

Why would they implement exfat if nintendo does it for free?

What games can you even play on 1.0? Most require an update

Im on 1.0.0 also. Using splitted roms in fat32 working perfectly! Waiting for emunand while playing compatible roms.
