Last question. Which one of these. They look the same. the amazon is slightly more expensive (Keep in mind amazon in is Canadian price), but has prime shipping. (I have prime) If they are exactly the same, I will get the amazon one, but if it is inferior in anyway, i wont get it. please inform me.
I still cant post links, so look at the screenshot.

Flashcarts with a year on them are almost always inferior clones with timebomb (stops working in the future depending on 3DS system clock).

If you want original best quality, get the R4i Gold 3DS Plus. If you want to save money (and don't need easy ntrboot and game save states), get an Ace3DS Plus.

*If you're lucky enough to have a 2DS or 3DS with firmware 11.3 or lower (like me), you don't need ntrboot to install CFW. Just use Soundhax, then update.

[Help] SD card transferring problems!

I have installed CFW on my 3DS with a 32gb SD card, and decided to use the same SD card to install some games on my Wii U (Through WUP Installer). So, I copied the 3DS files from my SD card to my PC and went about my business... But when I came to put the 3DS files back on my freshly-formatted SD card, I was short of space on the card! So, somehow, the size of the backup of my 3DS increased. It's probably me just being stupid, but any help or advice would be appreciated!

Thanks in advance.

Installed cfw using the magnet trick on my 3ds. Worked like a charm except after doing the magnet thing the touchscreen is now jittery. All else works fine. The touchscreen is calibrated. Its just that it jitters/shakes a lot. Do I need to do something or I screwed something up? Pls help. Thanks

It might be a hardware problem. I did that magnet exploit on three 3ds's so far and all of them worked like a charm before.

Wow rhat was fast. Atm I'm just waay too scared to take this thing apart. Everything actually works great except that the screen jittering and shaking is quite distracting/annoying when playing. I read somewhere that it could also be a battery problem? Will try to check it later if it helps.

Hi, I have an old hacked 3ds xl looking to get the latest and greatest hack. I'm currently on FW 9.2.0-20U. I'm pretty sure I was running RXtools and had to visit a website to initialize the hack. The website no longer works and looking to get back into it a new setup. I also have the qr game think its cube ninja or something and a R4i RTS 3DS card. Please point me in the right direction, would like to avoid bricking :) A Step by Step Guide posted somewhere would be amazing!

I'am at it right now.
Currently dumping NAND... 1MB every 2-3s... :D (there are 1240MB for anyone wondering)

Worked great up until now.
I bought SUDOKU (1,99€) with CC. Thank god they have "matching amount" or i would be stuck with 8€ on the Nintendo Shop
Kinda strange they don't offer PayPal :(

*update - Wasted 4 hours opening my ds up and checking the ribbons and connections internally. It turns out it was a brightness issue. The jittering comes out if the brightness is low (1). Setting it to (3) solved it. Sad part is it wasnt me who solved it. Was about to pack my ds and sell it when girlfriend saw the solution randomly on her youtube watch feed.

Hi, Im newbie for n3ds. I got 2nd hand n3ds from market but I not sure to update lastest luma+boot9strap.
(system settings show me to SYS 11.6.0-39U)

I found luma+boot9strap update tutorial but it only from A9LH+luma.
In memory card have only 6 folder, It don't have A9LH folder.

Can I update my n3ds to luma+boot9strap?

This is file in root folder.

Hey everyone, its been awhile since I checked the Gateway 3DS updates (about 4 years) and now I’ve heard that official Gateway 3DS support is dead/last update post was Feb 2017.
I use an O3DSXL 4.5 sysnand and emunand GW3DS 9.4 (think its on 3.4). What I’d like to do now though in 2018, is there a guide on how to/is it possible:

-Use a New 3DSXL stock 9.9.0-26E with Gateway 3DS
-Emunand support to 11.6.0-39 (would like to play latest game eg. Pokemon Ultra, Metroid Samus Returns)
-DLC support for Smash characters and Fire Emblem (is it something related with CIA files? I’ve never done it before or put custom stuff on to my GW3DS before)
-Still use current/transfer O3DS game saves to the N3DS
-Play/support original DS games on N3DS (I still have the blue Gateway cart and works fine on my O3DS)
-Cheat support for DS/3DS games

Or is it better to get a new 3DS flash cart in 2018? I’ve seen now there's Stargate 3DS, Sky3DS. Also I don't use online features/multiplayer but its a nice additional if they do work.
Much appreciated for advice about this, its been awhile since I played my 3DS and so many changes since I last checked GW3DS compatibility/features.

You dint need a flashcart at all. Follow these steps:
  1. Get FBI.3ds from https://github.com/steveice10/fbi/releases and put it on your red card microSD.
  2. Get JKSM.cia from https://github.com/J-D-K/JKSM/releases and install it with FBI (go to the SD menu option in FBI and press A on JKSM.cia and A again to install).
  3. Follow https://gbatemp.net/threads/importing-gateway-saves-to-cia-games.425743/ but you only need to export your save games, don't need to import them.
  4. Follow https://3ds.guide, you can use the MSET method which is very similar to installing the DS profile exploit that you'd be used to. When you get the option to follow "Move emuNAND", do so.
  5. Either, use https://3ds.guide/godmode9-usage to convert your 3ds format games to cia and install with FBI, or, install freeShop and download them (instructions are in the first post of this thread).
  6. Finish the guide linked in step 3 to import your save games.
  7. Put your Gateway card away.
Congratulations, you'll be up to date on everything and you'll be able to do everything the console has to offer.

For the N3DS, it suffices to follow https://3ds.guide, the soundhax method can be used. If you want to use the game saves from the O3DS on the N3DS, you only need to copy over the JKSM folder that was made after step 3 to the SD card of the N3DS, then install the games and import the saves.

Hold Select on boot and tell us what version Luma it says you have.

Woah thank you very much man, this is the type of steps I needed and to look for!
Also I forgot to mention about original DS games and cheat support. Will I still be able to use the blue gateway card?

Thank you very much. Is this correct?
Luma version is 67.0.5 or below, you have a9lh.
Luma version is 77.1 requires boot9strap 1.0
Luma version is 8 and up require b9s 1.2
Nearly right, corrections above. It would have made more sense if the releases were numbered as you said though.
