How to launch FLOG on any firmware version (1.0.0-5.1.0)

You will need:
The NCA of the original version of FLOG, look for f1d1780e16fc0d555808cfd59687b188.nca, you can get it from the update directory of all gamecarts released before 2018, and some after.
A copy of Retro City Rampage DX, doesn't matter which version (although the cart version has FLOG on it ;)).
The standard RCM/homebrew gubbins.

How to do it:
1. Extract the ExeFS from the FLOG NCA to a directory using hactool (--exefsdir flag).
2. Copy the "main" file to sd:/atmosphere/titles/0100F17004156000/exefs, creating the 0100F17004156000 and exefs folders along the way (you should already have the first two).
3. Boot into custom firmware using hekate.
4. Launch Retro City Rampage DX.
5. ?????
6. Profit!

Cool and nice! Is it limited only to Retro City Rampage DX or would some other games equally work?

Some other games would likely work, I'll find others that are compatible and compile a list.

Speaking of which, you can inject your own NES roms into the EXE, but I strongly recommend not doing that as it's a very glitchy emulator, and you can't use A, B, Start or Select independently.

Actually this gives me a cool idea: what if we inject a rom into the NES emulator that is already in RCR: DX?

the secret prototype thing is actually an NES ROM you know

Hey OP, I think you made a mistake: my TBOI: Afterbirth+ Cart doesn't seem to have the specified NCA file. Just figured I'd let you know.

Just dumped my Super Bomberman R, FLOG's .nca wasn't in the update partition.

---Edit---
Same with Zelda.

---Edit 2---
Did find it in both ARMS and Splatoon 2.

Weird, I dumped it from Zelda. Maybe try the swupdatedumper.nro and only dump the update partition.

SylverReZ @ SylverReZ: Also nice. Never really watched Fallout on Prime, but sounds like a good show. +1
