I just picked up a Glacier White Pro with model number CUH-7102B B02.

Can anyone shed some light on this being <=5.05 or not before I open it?

The highest firmware for pro I have seen is 4.73. Btw I cant find this model number at wikipedia. Are u sure its 7102B? I can found 7116B and 7115B and 70xxB.

I'm in Australia so maybe we have different model numbers here.

And yes I have heard of people getting 5.07 (which is apparently okay) but more concerning is that I've heard people getting brand new PROs with 5.50.

I just picked up a white PS4 Pro 1TB console in Australia with firmware 4.73. I don't see a date code anywhere on the box, so it was a bit of a gamble (I had to return one earlier this week as it was already running 5.50). For reference, the non-unique codes on the box are:

CUH-7102B B02
4-729-835-01

Did your box have a main picture of Horizon Zero Dawn on the back and underneath Uncharted 4, Mass Effect and GT Sport pictures?

I can confirm, that the PS4 Slim 500Gb "Days of play" comes with 5.03. I just bought it in Switzerland.

That's great to hear, I'm buying one in a few hours, I live in Northern Ireland UK so I'll update here with what firmware it has as soon as I turn it on.

I have a release edition ps4 on 5.05 and it's on its last legs, gave me the blue light of death a few days ago untill I fixed it with washers on the heatsink. So it'll be nice to have a fresh new ps4 especially a slim as it will also be much quieter, the phat is starting to sound like a jet engine while playing God of War

Sorry I was testing out the great guide that has been supplied to the scene to FTP into it to remove the 5.55 update and run HEN, and have now installed and tested my first pkg game, all good so far , hopefully those who have ordered theirs are as lucky in F/W as I was.

Days of play slim 500GB PS4 confirmed by many users including myself to be on 5.07. It's fairly safe to say that these are a good buy if your looking for a hackable ps4.

Was really contemplating getting a PS4 pro but most of the advantages that come with the pro either require games to be updated or to be on a non hackable firmware like 5.50+, so for now I think a slim is a good purchase

According to Wikipedia, the model numbers are different between US and Eur. 1TB vs 500GB also

I don't need confirmation of the model number, only the firmware level from a USA / Canada 'Days of Play' system.

Just checking as I haven't read too much yet (since my PS4 is 5.55!), 5.07 is as exploitable as 5.05? If so I will go and pick up one of these Days Of Play consoles later today I think!
