some people see atmos as an open source and good but stuff take time, as they do it for free. so you never know how it will be with updates concidering its emunand based.
also it has no working backup loader yet.
who knows when it will come.
i was going to wait for atmos but for 40 dollar to get a pc-less dongol to push the exploit and a jig and a firmware with a backup loader.

I'm happy to wait just as long as it comes in soon-ish (around 3-4 weeks lol)... knowing that atmosphere is open-source, probably won't happen.

I think backup loader (for cart games) is around the corner and will be a public release as soon as TX launches their device.
time may not be a factor. what if all sx pros are sold outbecause of a massive pre order. may be have to wait another month til new shipments come in......just a possibility.....

Backup loading can be implemented into Atmosphere either within 15 minutes of release or a year. If you're gonna wait, you will have to be ready.
There's no telling when a backup loader for atmosphere will be released because it's nowhere near finished. The SX pro is going to be released in a few days. If you have patience then wait if not pony up that chump change and enjoy those good ole backups that's floating around.
To me it's not that expensive. It's more like buying a DS flashcard, which I spent $40 on my Supercard DSTwo back in 2012. It's not like paying $80 or $100 for a Gateway or Sky3DS. If a free backup loader becomes possible, I wont feel like I spent a LOT of money and wasted it. I still at least get a professional looking jig and a useful dongle to use to load payloads easily without a PC or phone. You would not be able to get this dongle any other way.
What sold me, was the fact that you can flash your own payload to the dongle. Also, I can use this if I’m in bed chillin.
The os looks really polished. Maybe you can sell your license? I’m sure would buy it from you.
Honestly I'd say wait just a bit. I know team Xecuter said that there aren't any problems running their little dongle and FW on the switch but just to be on the safe side, wait for reviews here on the site. "most" new hacks have few issues with them (not saying that this one has any) but just to be safe.
Personally this is what I'm doing right now, just waiting to for a review to put my mind at ease to buy it. Imo it's worth it, it's cheaper than a game and it has a lot of functions that suit my usage.
