Not entirely sure if this is the right place to ask this, but here goes anyways. I'm currently playing Super Robot Wars V and there's a feature that allows you to import your own mp3's as custom tracks. Problem is, it's not seeing my files.

According to this translation of the instructions on the official website: https://gamefaqs.gamespot.com/boards/191203-super-robot-taisen-v/75019686

All I have to do is add the files to the memory card. The kicker here is that I'm using SD2Vita which is mounted as ux0 right now. I have a memory card mounted to uma0. As far as the game is concerned, the "memory card" is my sd card in ux0, correct? I've tried putting the files on ux0, uma0, and even ur0, but no dice.

One thing that could be an issue is that's I'm running 3.60 enso HENkaku right now and SRW V requires 3.60+ to play. I got around this by using a maidump to play on my Vita.

I figure this is a niche issue, but I thought I might as well try my luck.

Are you using QCMA to transfer the songs, or are you just plopping them on the memory card via USB?

It likely reads the music files in the same format as the Vita's media player, meaning you'd need to put them on your Vita using QCMA and not just plopping them wherever.

Thanks Tom, it works!

That was my first thought as well, but I've historically had issues with QCMA so I didn't want to bother with it. I got around it by using MediaImporter, so the mp3's did get added to the database in the Music app, but apparently the game doesn't like that workaround and didn't see them despite that. Since that didn't work I thought I could just plop them onto the card, but you can see that didn't work at all.

Thanks again!

Install QCMA on your PC, choosing libusbk when it asks which driver to install. If you have CMA or a previous, old installation of QCMA, uninstall both and only install the latest QCMA. Place any music files you want to add to the game in whatever folder you set as your CMA folder (it's usually in My Documents).

Then open QCMA, connect your Vita to the PC, choose PC->Vita transfers, and then Music. This will allow you to transfer songs to your Vita the legitimate way, which is apparently the only way the game will recognize them (even though MediaImporter technically does the same thing).

plz someone can help me?

it dont work on sd2vita

greetings
Follow the above steps, should work exactly the same whether you're using an SD2Vita or an original memory card (assuming, of course, that the SD2Vita is mounted as ux0).
