Hacking EZ flash omega doesn't save a single game (AGS 101)

I can not sure the console which sold on eBay is fake or not. I find some topic on reddit and gbatemp said fake ags-101(modified from ags-001) are sold on eBay.

Just ask the seller and ask a screenshot of the back of the AGS. There aren't fake stickers for the AGS101 they all say AGS001 if it's a fake.
So yeah it's doable.

And if I may know what was the issue in the end?

Also I wouldn't look at this as a waste. At least you know now on first hand experience there was/is an issue.

You have an EU Console for testing new updates now, i dont think that is a waste.

EUR sp 101 here... Even with the test flight v5 it's impossible for me to save NES, GB (both with the L+R menu) and GBA games. I tried on a DS lite and everything works fine. But for my SP 101 not a chance...

are you sure the fw version is 99 in the system menu?

For those of you with the USA AGS-101 ( C / AGT-USA ) like me, please can you confirm that there is no problem with saved games on EZ Flash Omega ? As I bought an EZ Flash Omega an hour or so ago, then found this thread and worried that I was going to have a useless flash cart?

I bought this flash cart so that I can play Zelda Link to the Past / 4 Swords (USA version) and be able to backup my save games progress on the PC, and also use the cheat feature to cheat my way out of certain parts that I find too difficult.

So my EZFlash Omega arrived today and I tried it with a genuine Sandisk MicroSDHC 16GB class 10 and it appears to play Zelda A Link to the Past / 4 Swords (USA version) and save my game just fine. Loading the saved game back in works fine. I am using Firmware 5, Kernel 1.03.

Awesomeness, I just tested the cheat facility with the EZFlash Omega and it works great! I tried an infinite fuel cheat in Desert Strike Advance (USA) and invisible cheat in Legend of Zelda A Link To The Past / 4 Swords (USA) and it works! I'm loving this cart. An essential purchase! My backup saves of Zelda transferred to the PC work in the GBA emulator as well!
