Its not possible as we cant bruteforce them open and we dont have keys for the PFS sector, just the RSA.

Just a quick question, how do you get fake update pkgs? I mean, normally you'd get official ones through a ps4database.io or downloading them on my PS4 (which requires to be on last firmware, right?) but how do I get my hands on these fake update pkgs?

The same database you just mentioned. Uploaders have physical discs. They put the disc in their jailbroken PS4, install the updates to those games that they got from those databases, and then dump the game and update separately. That's how you get fake PKG updates.

I did the same process for the discs I owned. Yesterday, I did it for Ratchet and Clank with the latest update v1.07. Dumped both the game and the patch using Modded Warfare's video tutorial and created Fake PKGs for both.

Once I was done, removed disc, deleted the update, started HEN, installed both game and update packages, and VOILA!...

Thanks for the explanation. So, if you dump both the games you own in disc and the updates you download from official servers, and then create fake PKGs from those files they will work in any jailbroken PS4 as long as the updates belong to that specific game dump. Important to upload both the game and the update for said dump. Normally you'd need to be in 5.55 to update ANY game but since you have those databases you are able to download, install, dump and create fake PKGs. What you can't do is install those that are 5.05+. Thanks again for the nice explanation , I'm just trying to understand everything .

Yeah,,,, and CUSA must match (there are over 5 "versions" of Uncharted 4 for example). Even if its basically 99.99% the same game, CUSA serial/number still needs to match.

Just CUSA ID? I read somewhere that even if it matches, the update MUST be from that specific game dump.

Cusa must match, but it could be a dump from anyone any other place or time after the original game was dumped.

This tool re-pairs the update to the game dump fake pkg you have.

(I dont get how it happens that update fokgs do not work without needing to be repacked)

I have been using this tool extensively the last 2 days to test its abilities and its really good!

Shame it cant cmd line make the gp4 file and start up pub-gen after

Hopefully he will post on her , I needed the feature of having the program not extract to c: drive but instead the option to pick a hard drive
