I really feel like I have to say this, and I'm not trolling I swear. I purchased a switch recently and I found myself not liking the feel of it in my hands. Compared to other "True" portables it's just too damn big. Now I'm not one to complain,I wrestled in college so complaints tend to go out the window, simply put, It's super rare that I ever bitc#. I payed for this thing because Nintedno advertises it as a portable and while technical by definition it is "portable", it's just too damn big to take any where with me w/o a backpack. I got in a huge argument with my brothers and we even got into the Webster's definition of portable. They both think it's a portable in the sense that a laptop and tablet are portable. Technically they are right but damnit, imho if it doesn't fit in your pocket, it's not a "True" portable. They need to make a smaller version asap, Who's w/ me?

Um the ability to fit on your pocket is not the meaning of portable..... A portable honda generator will not fit in your pocket. Portable means it functions on its own with out external need and can be carried around. A laptop is portable and it dont fit in your pocket......

This definition is open to interpretation as easy is an opinion. Also I stated that technically I am incorrect, I was just stating that it isn't really a conventional portable size.

Damn, I'm 5'6 150lbs and my hands are pretty damn small no lie. Maybe.I should just get big son lol. But honestly alot of people are about in size (especially in japan). A smaller model would sell well also don't you think?

Also no matter what people complain about the size. People say it's too big, others say it's too small. Can't cater to everyone.
You should have known full and well going into it that it wouldn't fit in your pocket, especially this late into the life when it should have been fairly obvious what the size is.

By definition it is portable, but no it won't fit in your pocket.

No, it's really not an opinion at this size and weight. A desktop is not portable, but this <3 pound item that fits in a small bag is definitely easy to carry around, it's just not pocketable or as convenient as something like a 3ds.
It would be like saying "calling a tablet portable is an opinion", such is just flat out wrong

I'm not the only one that wants a smaller model. Nintendo doesn't have to please everyone, just the majority of it's small statutered population as well as myself. Lol, whatever you call it. But you should understand, use a backpack if it doesn't annoy you, or a messenger bag if you find a backpack to big or if it makes your back sweat... It shouldn't really be a problem.
