With the TX SX website going live, many of you might be tempted to pull the trigger and pre-order an SX Pro or an SX OS.. Check the official list of resellers to find a reasonable price before you place your order (you'll find many around 40$ for the Pro dongle). Many greedy resellers have increased the price to 59.99$. Which is an insane markup from the 35$ recommend retail price by TX.. And from the 25$ they actually paid for the chip.. They definitely don't deserve 10$ more than what TX is getting for it simply for reselling the units!! So please check all the prices before placing your order and boycott the greedy bastards who increased the price.

I agree this is completely insane, and even though I personally don't agree with selling hacks especially the OS in the way TX has done, I'm personally more against upcharging, for the sake of upcharging...

We can debate whether or not it's ethical to sell hacks all we want. But at the end of the day TX is selling their work, their labor.. And those resellers definitely don't deserve 35$ for basically being the 'middleman' when TX only got 25$ for all the work they've done.. Both sides are selling a hack, except one side actually worked to create it.

I don't want to get into the ethics of selling hacks I think everyone knows that already, it's mainly my own personal feelings, and beliefs on it that make me not want to buy a product like it on the market, but putting that aside much like you said TX at least built a product that he put time, and effort into making, and these resellers don't deserve to buy the product in bulk at $25 a peice just to flip his product for over 100% profit that's simply not right at all, and I think those who want to buy TX's work for their own personal reasons should avoid these scalpers at all cost.

After-all you'll likely find better deals elsewhere, and these scalpers will surely learn quick enough to reduce the price back down to the same MSRP as the other resellers given enough time, and persistence by the consumers... they'll really be forced to in-order to make any money off of them.

Horrible, the axiogame sells Pro at $59, though they give a rather cheaper offer on the SX OS($24.95). It's insane for them to do it. On the contrary, the following seller support cheaper and cheaper price. In the beginning they sell it at $49.9, now with voucher code in use and free shipping, the final price is 45.4$.

You are clueless about how the retail world works... in some industries it's not uncommon for retailers to have a 200-250% markup. I don't know how much TX is making off of each sale, nor how much they're paying for the hardware itself. But for the sake of simplicity let's assume you're right and the resellers are paying TX $25 per unit so they can sell at $35 per unit. That's $10 that the reseller is making per sale.

For the costs of hosting and putting up a storefront, keeping a warehouse stocked with inventory, dealing with shipping to individual customers, and taking a risk by buying in bulk (for a product that may not even succeed, since Atmosphere will be released soon and a free piracy solution for the switch will inevitably follow) that $10 is well deserved.

I agree, 10$ is well deserved.. But they're making 35$, on top of the 25$ they paid.. TX recommends a retail price of 35$, these assholes are selling for 60$.. And btw I own/run a Granite and Ceramic importing business with my father, and our shipping and inventory storage runs a LOT higher than a couple of boxes filled with dongles.. And if we increase our profit margin to anywhere near 50% we'd be laughed out of the market.. Let alone the 140% those idiots are going for... it just isn't right.

If you're from the USA, use modchips direct. They have regular prices and are very reliable.

Yeah, many sites can send from USA, but it will take a time for them to transfer the Pro to USA, that is 3ds-flashcard tells me too. They say it clearly on the page.
"Tips: For those of you choose USPS/LA POSTE/GLS as shipment, SX Pro will be shipped from USA/France, but you need to wait another one week after the releasing date of Xecuter SX PRO&OS."

September is quite a ways off when you can get it in late June as well as a nifty portable dongle capable of loading other payloads I think.
Indeed. I find this nifty dongle very convenient and worth it. Of course, I'm just gonna wait until all of the bans and such pass by and things settle before going online with it, but its still nice to have.

Even if it ships the dongle is just a payload launcher until they unlock os.

Also regarding the op , about resellers charging more for products then they paid for them. What's that about, like you know how money gets made right? This product isn't even a normal product it's worth what ever you're willing to pay

Yes I do... it isn't made by scamming your parents out of their hard earned money and overcharging them that much just cause you want to play games, son..

Supply and demand, and greed. Thats how marketing works. You start selling and it starts selling like hot cakes so you push up the price and see how far you can take it.

Building materials will eventually sell, you don't have the risk that suddenly no one will want your stock if a newer technology comes along tomorrow. Charging what they do is insurance against their stock suddenly becoming unsellable, to cover the purchase price of it and still have a profit. Over time, their prices will come down, too. The stock will probably be able to be bought wholesale for less as it becomes less new, but they still have stock that they bought at the higher price. They're leaving themselves a bit of room so they don't go bankrupt.

We literally have about 500 square meters from 6 years ago.. Sitting there collecting dust. And unless a pot hole on the road can take down 20k$ worth of dongles like it does the entire container on delivery, don't talk to me about risk! 140% is pure greed no matter the risk.. And it's plain stupid when you have other websites selling for 40$.
