Celebrating the 30th Anniversary of the iconic Street Fighter fighting game franchise, Capcom released the Street Fighter 30th Anniversary Collection today. This package highlights the series’ past in an anthology of 12 classic titles, plus loads of archival documents, music and history.

This title marks the first time many of these arcade essentials are playable on consoles and PC. Battles can be fought against the CPU or friends locally in traditional arcade fashion. Additionally you can challenge an opponent online in four online-supported games.

The 12 classic titles included are as follows:

• Street Fighter Alpha 3*
• Street Fighter III
• Street Fighter III: 2nd Impact
• Street Fighter III: Third Strike*

*Online play and Training Mode supported

While staying true to the original arcade experiences, Street Fighter 30th Anniversary Collection also includes some extras inviting fans to explore the franchise's history via early game design documents, character bios and sprite viewers, and even listen to some soundtracks via the game’s built-in music player.

The thing I don't understand is why would you play Street Fighter II if there's the updated version included ?

so they actually have 5 street fighter 2 huh? one of the biggest mystery in gaming now solved

Technically they had even more with the rainbow edition and championship edition...

But even SF4 had 4 (technically 5) expansions.
SF4 / SSF4 / SSF4:AE / USF4 / Omega SF4

And damn it, I'll play any of them over and over again!

The exclusion of USFIV annoys me more than it shoud. Great collection though if you are like 30+ years old and have friends to play against.
Yea, I pretty much stopped buying fighting games since I don't have any friends, at least ones who visit.

Dunno if you saw this video. :P

What strength! But don't forget there are many guys like you all over the world!
Least you'll actually be able to fight guys all over the world with online play. :creep:

The real question is, which system did everyone buy this game for cause I already plan for the switch. :)

Not if you buy the Switch version you don't get the digital download. What a gyp.

Because I don't think Capcom was interested in porting a game made in 2009 and updated 4 times over 5 years. The ps4 version was made specifically with contract with Sony for the capcom pro tour and being available on Xbox one is just the Xbox 360 backwards compatibility working on xbox one.

It would be nice to have it on switch, especially since the 3DS one is totally outdated, but perhaps it could happen if capcom gets the message. :)

So they should still included a voucher for the Steam version, IDK.

PlayStation 4 – Pre-order the Street Fighter 30th Anniversary Collection on PlayStation 4 to receive Ultra Street Fighter IV, the final updated version of the original Street Fighter IV. If you pre-order the physical copy, you’ll receive the game as a digital code on the receipt in North America. For European physical pre-orders, please check with participating retailers for details. If you pre-order the digital copy, the game will automatically appear in your library within 14 days after May 29.

Xbox One – Pre-order the physical or digital copy to receive two separate codes: one for Super Street Fighter IV: Arcade Edition and the other for Ultra Street Fighter IV, which is playable due to backwards compatibility. The codes will be on the receipt during in-store pickup of the physical copy in North America. For European physical pre-orders, please check with participating retailers for details. For digital pre-orders, codes will be delivered to the Message Center 7-10 days after launch.

Steam – Pre-order on Steam to receive a digital copy of Ultra Street Fighter IV! The game will automatically appear in your library on launch day, the same time the Street Fighter 30th Anniversary Collection appears.

Nintendo Switch – While there is no pre-order bonus for the Nintendo Switch, it is also the only system that will contain Super Street Fighter II: The Tournament Battle, which allows up to eight players to partake in a local ranked tournament together. More information on this exclusive below!

You lied to us about the pre-order bonus. Steam users only got SSF4 AE!!
Did you load the game? :ninja:
