Homebrew Homebrew Emulator Compatability List for 4.X.X through 5.X.X (Helpful information)

This is a great day in the community.

FINALLY THE VIRTUAL CONSOLE WE ALL DESERVE!

Not from Nintendo but from our community.

We now have Arcade games, Game Boy Advance games, Game Boy Color games, Sega Gamegear/Genesis/CD games all running.

All running on 4.1.0, 5.0.2 or 4.X.X and 5.X.X software version of the Nintendo Switch.

Might not be 100% but we are off to an AMAZING START.

You never know what will be next.

Should help make it easier to find everything and get a better visual of the process involved in running these emulators on 4.X.X through 5.X.X

pFBA ROMS MUST BE PLACE AND NAMED CORRECTLY FOR pFBA To recognize you game. If the game name is green in the list your good to go. If the game name is red in the list STOP it wont load correctly.

pFBA rom location example:

Make sure the name is correct.
Keep each game as a zip file.
Try a Sega megadrive game.
Place it in the roms folder in pFBA.
Try sonic for example.
Make sure sonic is named as fallows.
md_sonic
md_ in the name tells the emulator it is a Sega megadrive.

Want to know people's thoughts on the recent progress with Homebrew running on 4.X.X and 5.X.X

A lot of progress has been made in such a short period of time it's amazing.

To all the developers I would like to say thank you for all your time and hard work.

This is an amazing community when everyone gets along and works together.

pFBA Yes but the gameboy one run and then crash IN THE DOCK after a while.

Handheld is great.

Nice video, was going to drop a like but that advertising triggers people. If your content is good, the likes and subs will appear. Begging for it is just sad.

Some people do not know if you do not hit the notification icon/bell you wont know of new content that's all.

No, but the Switch emulators need access to hardware acceleration; as it stands, software acceleration is pretty slow.
