Probably for people who are unaware of JoyconHax (Or making a jig). Though if you're following this scene, you probably know what that is anyway. Most people are very likely going to buy the software version and just use RCM mode assuming that's how they're pulling it off as well. Though I'm curious on how they did it with a dongle.

Honestly, $40 isn't too bad of a price...just remember, GateWay 3DS was $80...DOUBLE the price of a 3DS game....This, even at $50 is less than the price of a Switch game....also, other 3DS flash carts were well over $100...I think Sky3DS was about $119 or something...R43ds is still selling them at $87!

I don't know why some people complain about $40 for a modchip while they can get a game that costs $60.

I'd think because the pro tool (usb device thing) is only needed to install the OS. Maybe people buy the pro then an extra OS to sell or use since they can only be used once.
