TLoZ: Breath Of The Wild Upcoming Mod - Zelda playable

Thanks to the modding communit, soon we will have Zelda as a playable character in the game.

A new video showing some gameplay with the Flamebreaker Set has been released recently.




Trollsquad57, QZando, Queeropatra and LynardKiller have perfected a Zelda mod for Breath of the Wild, with new voices for Zelda’s actions:



For now they are working on this mod for Wii U, but they intend to make it for Nintendo Switch as well.

A release date hasn’t been revealed, but the initial release shouldn’t be too far off, according to the developers.

"Minor technical problems aside, this is one of gaming’s greatest and most storied series returning with something we’ve never seen before. Breaking all the conventions of the series, and even a few general gaming conventions, Breath of the Wild is essential for any self-respecting gamer. A new bar has been set in open world gaming."

How do you guys feel about having a playable Zelda in Breath of the Wild?​

It sure makes me want to play this game again, but now as Zelda.

Also, question regarding the mod: are the developers planning on changing dialogue so that Link is the one trapped with Ganon and everyone addresses Zelda as Zelda?

There's a lot of story elements that would be a lot more impactful if referring to Zelda directly, and there's a few instances I can think of where dialogue would be almost nonsensical if it didn't
