Just a friendly question, since we now have to the SD without the mini paypoad [those who have hiya], is anyone working on on porting the Emulators like:

  • SnesDS
  • SneMulDS
  • Jenesis DS
  • GameYob
Among the others, as .tia or decrypted content? O: so we can install them to the menu and have access to the sd?

Since i remember testing all the emulators via robz8 srloaders, but they did not run, some got stuck on Fat Initialization among other errors.

Having CFW does not mean incompatible emulators will work. If they didn't work without CFW, they won't work with it.
edit: As for GameYob, Apache Thunder made a home screen title for hiyaCFW: https://cdn.discordapp.com/attachments/283769550611152897/441387394537881600/47594f42.zip
It goes to the 0030004 folder.
Most of the emulators got stuck due the Fat Device Loading if I'm correct, SneMulDS even present differences with the latest builds on Hiya, it boots and tries to init fat, but cant read the folder and pressing A triggers an error screen after 1 minute waiting more or less.

They lack of proper driver support, which I''m guessing we will eventually see.

The source isn't available, so we can't move the folder it's trying to read from to the SD card rather than the flash cart. That's the issue.

Literally anything that could be done with an emulator, could be done without CFW. The only thing CFW allows is unlocked ARM7 SCFG which allows access to the DS BIOS and the Cart Slot. That's the only thing CFW actually changes.

GameYob and NesDS have DSi ports, just look for them. Working on SnemulDS, and have no interest in NeoDS
You are STILL getting it wrong again, is not that they have DSI Ports, as in i can use them on dsi without issue, and as a matter of fact, GameYob and NesDS works on Hiya, they did work also on UGoPwn regardless the MiniPayload, however, NesDS 1.3d does not work, it has to be 1.3c or 1.3b iirc, as for GameYob it does also work, i was asking if someone was working on porting them as a .tia installer, or creating the contents + tittles for the dsi home menu.

Also the issues on JenesisDS are already reported as well as the NeoDS ones.

nesDS has issues unless you're using Apache Thunder's build.
It's also pointless to make a TIA only build of any homebrew.
Just make a forwarder like SRLoader has, or figure out how to make the homebrew boot from yourself. It's probably not that difficult. I'm fairly sure it's just put the homebrew in a folder and forge a TMD for it.

ApacheThunder 1.3d version never worked, so i use the include one on SRLoader or 1.3c from apache thunder, it might be my taste, but i prefer the icons on the home menu that a launcher to launch the emus, think of it as a Forwarder like on the Wii ;D

--------------------- MERGED ---------------------------

There is no REAL TIA installer that I am aware of. We're still trying to fully work out loading and reading the SD card slot on the DSi
TWLit?

The build in SRLoader IS 1.3d. The build Apache Thunder uploaded to github just doesn't work for some reason. When I built it myself, it worked properly and I believe it's the one included with SRLoader.

I see, no wonder why i've never make it work.

Now that i know the one included on SRLoader its 1.3d that should at least do it for now. still would be pretty cool to have the forwarders.
