Um, almost started updating, but then a question popped up. If I have two memory cards (official ones, not sd2vita), should i unlink them both? Like unlink one, insert another+reboot, and unlink it as well? Also, the games installed on them both on 3.60 via Mai & .vpk will stay as they were, right? A bit worried about Adrenaline, too >_>

Hi there! This is my situation:
-Ps vita 16gb sd card ux0 (nonpdrm, adrenaline)
-sd2vita adaptor 128 gb uma0 (psp stuff!
You see...I want to update to 3.65 and put the sd2vita adaptor as a ux0 because...well, there are a lot of games that I want in vita and I need space.

Should I do the upgrade tutorial with the ps vita Sd card and later do the typical tutorial to set uma0 to ux0?

Also, are there any common issues/noob plugin stuff that I should know before upgrading? Thanks!

you must disable your all plugins and you must delete enso before update, so you cant go with sd2vita to update, just dont forget to take a backup for vitashell...

Greetings. First time PS Vita owner here. just got a used PS Vita on 3.65 with VHBL in it.
I'm super new to the Vita hacking scene. My first question is, can my vita play backup Vita games?

Worked perfectly. Was even able to finally Connect to the PSN to get a couple Games I have been wanting for a while now. Did this over the Wkend, so dont know if anything has changed recently. Thinking of getting 2 others. Havent seen any Reports of Users having any Issues, so I assume everything is still good?

Was it difficult? I dont know if I should jump the fence and do it. I dont want to loose my adrenaline/nonpdrm treasure

Up to me? What do you mean?
You can still mount sd2vita as ux0 on 3.65, whether you do it before or after you update is up to you.

I really can't say which is the better way to do it since I updated on day 1 but had to wait a bit to get my sd2vita working since I wanted to mount it as uma0 when on launch day only mounting as ux0 was available.

As long as you follow the guide, things will work out fine :).

Well I think I am going to stay on 3.60. In fact, 3.61+ games are not vita exclusives and have a MUCH better performance on ps4 or pc. Example: YS VIII

The good games that you include are multiplatform. The "meh" games are of course exclusives, but I dont think they are worth the upgrade (visual novels, I HATe them)

None of the ones I listed are multiplatform.

And that says more about your bad taste in games if you think these are "meh".

Romancing saga 2 and digimon are multiplatforms ^_^u

Dont get me wrong, apart from those two there isn't a videogame that makes people say "oh boy, I will finally play those jewels"

Romancing Saga is.

Digimon is Playstation exclusive, it's not on PC and probably won't be.

That's because a lot of people bought a Japanese console with the odd expectation that there will be an abundance of western games.

I search for Japanese titles to either mod or translate so I have no issues finding great titles.

@Maximumbeans, Indeed. I've been working on getting this Infecutus chip to work on my PS2. But after soldering, I realised that a plastic piece was missing from the power ribbon cable to the power and eject buttons.
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
Now I could go with soldering the contacts from the cable to the connector on the mobo, but doesn't sound like a good permanent solution.
  • Maximumbeans @ Maximumbeans:
Man, that's beyond my brain  I'm no good with hardware for now. I'd like to get into hardmods in future though
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
@Maximumbeans, Maybe start practice soldering. Get a cheap-ass soldering iron and follow some good YouTube tutorials.

Least my experience has gotten better than over a decade ago. My iron would constantly bump into components and break them.
  • Maximumbeans @ Maximumbeans:
Sounds good. I actually did soldering but like 16 years ago for school so uuuuh probably rusty haha
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
@Maximumbeans, Same here. I did soldering at school from a teacher who I honestly liked since he had plenty of good electronics experience.
