Will overclocking the Switch combined with liquid helium cooling make it as powerful as the Xbone X?

With a nice overclock maybe third party Switch games could run acceptably which would be a really nice change from what's happening right now and what will continue to happen, since games don't get less demanding

On a more serious note, Nintendo uses the cheapest shit they can find for the Switch's thermal paste. By replacing it with something of higher quality and using CFW to increase the clock rate we might be able to improve frame rates. Keep in mind I'm using the word "might" because I don't know what the fuck I'm talking about.

You can't really overclock an ARM chip like the X1 in the sense of PC overclocking. At the very least, no console I'm aware of supports overclocking, CFW or not - aside from a few dodgy hardware mods on N64.
(To those saying PSP; no, that was designed with variable CPU speed up to 333MHz which many games weren't allowed to use in early years)

I remember reading that the Switch is underclocked, even in docked mode. Would we be able to raise it to at least the standard clock rate?

I read that too... but i also read it was underclocked by 50%
so overclocking it by 100%?
It might be hot as hell

What was the point of necrobumping this thread?

At least my idea of using hacks to raise the Switch’s CPU and GPU to the standard clock rate has since been realised.
