E3 2018 is closing in, and with Bethesda, Xbox, and other major companies announcing their plans and schedule for the yearly expo, it was only a matter of time before Nintendo revealed their upcoming schedule for the event. The main focus will be the newly announced Super Smash Bros. game for the Nintendo Switch, and details will be given to games that are planned for 2019 and beyond. Two tournaments will take place; the Splatoon 2 World Championships will occur before E3, and the Smash Bros. invitational competition will follow after their press conference.
The main Nintendo Direct E3 presentation will be broadcast live at 9 am PT, on June 12, and will feature major announcements. Afterwards, the Treehouse Live event will start, showing off developer interviews and more gameplay. Super Smash Bros. for the Switch will be playable to the public at Nintendo's booth in the Los Angeles Convention Center, and at the Nintendo World Store in New York.
Stay tuned, as GBAtemp will be attending the event live this June!
