Modchips aren't an option for me, so I heard about how I can run burned GC games using a Datel SD Media launcher.

I tried to find one online, but there is absolutely nothing.

Datel's US site redirects to the UK site most of the time, and their US items seem to be out of stock.

Ebay has no Datel Media launchers, and furthermore, Datel's shop has been removed from Ebay.

Amazon is out of stock completely.

So, is there anywhere I can buy an NTSC media launcher? Or a non-modchip alternative to it?

I believe they were still available a year ago, not sure if its simply out of stock or discontinued. I've heard their support is quite good, you should send them a email and see if/when they would restock.

Older (non-Wii compatible branding version with code entry) Action Replay could run SDload with added code and a SD Gecko.

Newer (Wii compatible branding version) Action Replay launches SD Media Launcher if you have a SD Gecko inserted.

Chipped gamecube have been on eBay around $50.

I know this is late, but in the event that you were still looking, code junkies' uk site sells the ntsc version. Mine just came in today.

Off topic, but you can run GC games on a softmodded Wii as well, you know.
You can even get the original Gamecube Bios as well if you use Nintendont.

I guess this is a way old thread though, didn't realize that when I made the post.

In case you haven't solved your problem yet, the new GC exploits that were released should make it much easier: https://gbatemp.net/threads/new-gamecube-exploits.420900/

This doesn't seem to be very well known, but Datel's Action Replay has the SD Media Launcher built into it: https://www.amazon.com/gp/offer-listing/B00008DHLX

The Action Replay is set up to function as the SD Media Launcher if the SD Card Adapter is connected into Memory Card Slot B (I never tried it with Slot A, but it probably works as well).

The actual adapter can be any 3rd party adapter, such as this: https://www.amazon.com/gp/offer-listing/B06Y1R927K

I've messed around with it a bit, and it seems to function the same as the SD Media Launcher is advertised.

This is what post #2 mentioned briefly. Only the 'Wii compatible' version has SD Media Launcher.

The term 'Wii compatible' isn't really accurate here. This version of the Action Replay doesn't even work on my Wii, but it works fine on other Wiis. The proper way to refer to this Action Replay is by the version number, which is 1.20.
