its there already but 0verflow didnt release itWhat are the chances we can see say Debian on Switch?
Wait, XDA?i never tought about it but an xda section for the nintendo switch would break doors ... can you maybe try to progress it ?
Let me just tell you this. It's impossible to completely remove something from the internet. It would just be a waste of resources.Well M$ seems to be getting much more friendly that they even give wind10 full 4 free, you don't need to put any serial number and register it, there isn't much drawbacks...
I bet even if XP source code would get leaked it would stay online for a long time, but no idea, not that I care either...
If it was wind10 source would be pretty cool but I bet M$ would only stop until someone would get jailed...
Edit: I would really like having a wind10 modded from safe sources with almost everything that I don't need removed from its internal kernel and other stuff...
No, lol. Especially the dock that can turn it into a desktop with usb ports. This is a genuine question since I've never owned a tablet, but aren't there other cheaper tablets out there that would make better linux handhelds than the Switch? If not, then I kinda get it.
Why would they do that? The switch is a powerful tablet, android can be booted, and they have development forums for windows phone. Lol.Wait, XDA?
Would they be the same as Canonical/Ubuntu community rejecting WSL at first when WSL was barely over a month old?

There is literally a link to the release in the OP.greaaaaaaat, SALT is back...
knowing them this has about a 2% chance to be released... :/
[ZIPALIGNED] [DEODEXED] [OREO] Switchdroid v1.0 BETAa Switch section at XDA would be pretty awesome
You forgot [ROOT] [MAGISK] [&KNUCKLES][ZIPALIGNED] [DEODEXED] [OREO] Switchdroid v1.0 BETA
Well entirely is hard, but the majority with a few resources it can be done...Let me just tell you this. It's impossible to completely remove something from the internet. It would just be a waste of resources.
You said in order to run Linux on switch we need bootrom exploit. fortunately the bootrom exploit was leaked hours ago.Yeah there's the Pixel C (also X1) but I already have a Switch and wanted porting experience. It was a good exercise and will be something I can point at for jobs or w/e. Also just curious to bring in an intersection of Linux kernel hackers (think XDA) into Switch stuff as well, it's no fun with just the console kids. Mostly all just for fun and to hopefully demystify things just a bit.
No exploit has been leaked, just the bootrom itself. You said in order to run Linux on switch we need bootrom exploit. fortunately the bootrom exploit was leaked hours ago.
The only team that could have an effect is TX, as KT has said she would release info just to stifle their profits. We just will have to wait and see what happens. Hope that no other team comes out with another "surprise"

Forget about pcsx2I hope everything goes work well. My dream to could run linux apps and emulators like pcsx2 and dolphin.
Or anything less than that however we'll be more than grateful.
Yeah, it seems they dropped the price to £299 for a bit and then discontinued around December. The Switch is also much cheaper than the Pixel C (here in the UK anyway) although I think the Pixel C is actually discontinued now.
Switch = £289
Pixel C = £400+
