Just wanted to share this with someone. Got a Email from Nintendo talking about wired nintendo switch controllers, my email link took me to walmart, but on their page at the site says it's also at Target and Gamestop.

This traditional-style controller is officially licensed by Nintendo, featuring a soft-touch finish and an 8ft removable USB cable for quick response time and plenty of playing room.

  • Traditional style controller for the Nintendo Switch
  • 8ft Removable USB cable
  • Soft-touch finish
  • Officially Licensed by Nintendo

So far, only ones available have Mario, Bowser, Donkey Kong, Yoshi, Link, and Splatoon. Each controller is $24.88 (At time of writing) Not sure if it's a typo but there is more based on various characters. You can see them for yourself with the link, but you can probably find them elsewhere. If you wanted to get a low cost controller for the switch, this may be what you are looking for, but I don't know if it has any of the unique stuff like HD rumble, NFC or Montion Controls. For this price, I doubt it has most of what made the other one expensive in the first place, but hey, maybe would be nice if it worked on pc right?

What is the "Guest Controller" feel? Lol :P

That feeling you get from a cheap knock-off third party controller. Like the ones that Mad Catz and Pelican Accessories used to make back in the day. People would always play with the controller that came with their console, but would buy one of these "cheap" controllers for their guests to play.

Finally real triggers? But for a wired controller is probably just better to buy the usb devices that we can use XBox, PS4 and whatever other controllers...

If you have a Xone controller you can buy Brook Xone adapter it works wirelessly on the Switch and has built-in motion sensors that work on the Switch, the problem is really the fact that it doesnt let us use our battery, it comes with a crap 800mah battery inside which is a bloody crap in autonomy.

I would love getting one, but only if I could be sure I could fully cut it with a dremel and put my 2500mah AA turnigy which last a week on my Xone controller.

These have been out for a few weeks here in the UK, exclusive to GAME.
I treated myself to a full set.
Not to play though, they aren't the best quality, just for collecting/display purposes. They do look pretty good!
