Is there a description of the workflow for adding the (fully written) supports anywhere? I wouldn't mind helping out with that. I know how to use Nightmare to (for example) make two supports possible, but it's not clear how to go about adding the text or scene itself.

I want to thank you so much for this mod/hack/whatever... I just got the game recently and right at the start Chrom made me feel special but I got a bit turned off when I learned I needed to play female to court him. So thank you again for this!

I also died a little when Lucina called me Papa.

I don't know if you're still planning on supporting this but I found some little things you could maybe try to troubleshoot...

Firstly, In the character info of the bottom screen, when Chrom and M!Robin get married (I don't know if it affects other couples...), they both call themselves "wife". By that i mean that Chrom is Robin's "wife" and Robin is Chrom's "wife", even tho they're both male.

Even tho I married Chrom before chapter ten, the game still played the random maiden scenario for the birth of Lucina. I totally understand that you might not be planning on touching the main story line, but I still wanted to point it out. That's why Lucina surprised me when calling me Papa 'cause I didn't expect it anymore.

Go to the support menu, select any characters and you should notice that for most characters, boys or girls, they can get to S rank support.

Here's the first part of a series of updates aimed at filling out Chrom's marriage options and the associated in-game events around it (with a side focus on Sumia, who also had criminally few supports in vanilla)! This one's just support conversations, but it has a few that people have really clamored for! Hoo boy... just spent 12 hours enabling my O3DS XL ver 11.6 for CFW via boot9strap. I am so out of my league. I tried launching braindump from my homebrew launcher menu and immediately got "this homebrew exploit does not have support for launching applications under target titles. Please use a different exploit." Does this mean this hack doesn't work with newer system versions?

You don't need braindump to use the hack and yes, it does work on newer system versions. https://github.com/AuroraWright/Luma3DS/wiki/Optional-features, look for "Enable game patching" and "LayeredFS". If you download the hack, it contains folders for the layeredfs version in "Gay Awakening v0.3.2/Gay Awakening/V 0.3.1/Luma". Move the first folder for the US version to SD:/luma/titles and enable "Enable game patching" in your Luma settings.

My /luma doesn't have a /title folder. However there is SD:/ID0/32-characters/title. Should I put the /00040000000A0500 folder from Gay Awakening there? Or create a new /title folder in /luma?

That's the Nintendo 3DS folder. Stay out of that folder. The luma folder should be on the root of your SD card. If you don't have the titles folder, make it, then place the 00040000000A0500 from the Luma folder in the Gay Awakening folder.

Sorry if this has been mentioned already but does anyone know if this affects the triggers for Chrom's automatic marriage after Chapter 11? Should I just edit the supports before that chapter instead of fussing over the fact that his highest support isn't what I wanted? Can anyone point me to what values in the save file correspond to support levels? All the tools focus on character class, stats, items, and skills but I can't seem to find info on supports.

I actually figured out a significant chunk of it. I should be able to manage now. I know where most of Chrom's support ranks are saved and I can pretty easily figure out the offsets when new characters join my party. Other characters support ranks are in different orders but you can easily tell which one is which from the non-zero offset values.

It's telling me to launch Homebrew from the Download Play by using the Rosalina Menu, but after doing all the stuff in the menu and closing Download Play, it just gives me a black screen. Basically, I'm stuck at step 10 on Section III

I know how to figure it out at least. Get a hex editor like HxD and a save decrypting tool like FEAST or FEST (Easier to use). Use the compare tool of your hex editor on two saves just before and after the marriage dialogue and the only changes should be the spouse titles and support rank for those two characters. The highlighted offset will be where those titles are saved. If you have a character labeled husband and another labeled wife than you will know exactly what value corresponds. I looked into it a little on the Serenes Forest forum. The process should be fairly straightforward if you can follow how character tables are structured from my post near the end. Of course this will only allow you to change husband to wife to nothing and vice versa. If you actually wanted to change the title to something unique that would involve editing the game files which I'm not ready to look into just yet.

I haven't looked at the code, but it's generally agreed that it works by averaging the modifiers of both parents and the child in vanilla, and that should still be the case with the mod. Just editing the reliance list to enable S rank and editing your husband/wife data in the character tables before the paralogue starts should be enough to assign the parents to the child properly. The actual game file editing was only needed to add support dialogues , but the mechanics for class and modifier inheritance should work regardless. Of course I'm just speculating.
