Hi all!

I've done the following:

- Succesfully used Wuphax the first time.
- Forgot to save the backup of the MiiChannel, wiped the SD card.
- Installed the MiiChannel v6 WAD from NUS downloader
- Formatted the Wii U

Then, today:

- Tried to re-hack the vWii
- Started Wuphax, it told me it could not find MiiChannel... strange.
- Created a copy of 00000018.app as wuphaxbackup.app in the SD root folder and "backupped" my MiiChannel
- Wuphax does now start and tells me that the injection is successful.

BUT IT IS NOT! When I go to vWii mode and start the MiiChannel the original MiiChannel starts and Hackmii is nowhere to be seen (even if I have boot.elf in the SD root...)

Any pointers guys? I hope I didn't lose the chance to hack my vWii forever, now...

- Sam

Did u install the reg Wii mii channel to it or vwii mii ?

And also following all directions. Not sure if it was 2G and under non hcsd card or if that was just for hacking through the Wii save games
Also I believe had to have nothing in USB ports. Which means hd and controllers and gc adaptor , which I had gc adaptor in but no remotes plugged into and that was reason why mine didn’t go at first but I believe it wouldn’t even start so if urs is saying success then prob not issue

Other option if no luck still go to definitive vwii hack guide and get one of those Wii games and use 2G non hcsd card ( which prob hard to find if no own one ) and use the save game hack method to install hb channel

Regular Wii MiiChannel used. Where can I find the vWii version?

No USB connected.

Also: the SD is an old 16GB one... worked fine with old Wii consoles and does on WiiU. I see no reason why it should have worked the first time and not now.

Anybody else got a possible solution? :)

Goto the hacking vwii the old way.
And I think 2G sd card was used for that method and also believe on regular Wii that was the case unless u had the Wii hacked then could use hcsd cards
There’s a handful of dif games you can use to do the save game hack. I know Lego Batman is one of them. Then smash bros Wii is another. So u may have one of the discs if lucky. If not then go buy one used. I know GameStops u can buy and return used games.

the wii channel is different from the vwii one, on vwii the app is actually 00000001.app and not 00000018.app which is why it fails to load, attached a file in this post that is just a hex edited version of wuphax 1.1u3 with the 00000001.app string replaced by 00000018.app which I guess should work...
