Hi All

I got Animal Crossing Wild World from the estore to install Haxchi, i realise that the place where this game lives in the WiiU has been taken over by the Haxchi install but is it possible to install through non eshop methods? i did try but the WiiU had a fit and wouldn't install it.
Is this game lost to me forever?

Thanks

There's ways to use it still but it gets complicated with fake vs. real tickets. You should have picked a game you didn't want to ever play.

Its not exactly "Lost" forever. If you want to play it, you will need to uninstall Haxchi, then reinstall the DS game from the EShop. If you have CBHC installed, make sure you uninstall CBHC the correct way first, make sure to follow the uninstall instructions for CBHC to the letter.

Honestly, I wouldn't mess around with that if I had CBHC installed. lol. (I have normal Haxchi BTW)

But you have normal Haxchi right? So there is no risk of a brick. That im aware of anyway

EDIT: I wonder if Loadiine plays DS Games? I don't think so though, since Loadiine is not an emulator, and just a way to launch games on the SD Card. IDK. lol

Why are you playing Animal Crossing: Wild World on the Wii U? The newest Animal Crossing game that can be played on the Wii U is Animal Crossing: City Folk.

Use Wild World for Haxchi, and use City Folk for playing.

Or you could just dl a dif region of game. But seeing how just went Rambo and tried to install the game without knowing it would overwrite haxchi install and if a safety wasn’t in place you would have. Might want to refresh ur mind and review haxchi and cbhc sticky. Most guides make it known but I guess some may not or if buy system already hacked and seller no warn you

Thanks for the replys.
I just installed the us region one and it worked fine, thanks!
I would like animal crossing city folk as well but it just seems like such a mess sorting out the vWii compared to just hacking the WiiU. I might do at some point when the family get bored of all the WiiU games. It's a shame that the animal crossing for the WiiU needs those amibo things, I don't have any of those :(

Buy the amiibo power saves by datel. Comes with the power puck or whatever it’s called. It’s rewritable. And a user on here made an app to copy amiibo bin file to it. I got mine on clearance at GameStop. So for $25 I can have any amiibo u want then change it out. Or buy the cheap tags in bulk that are a one time install.

Ok so despite getting wild world to work its a bit rubbish on a bigger screen. After googling a bit i'm still confused as to what the injection method for getting animal crossing city folk means. I'm guessing i need to hack the vWii, download city folk, use that WiiU helpful software and that will compile (injection method?!) the game in such a way that it can be installed to the external drive and played from the WiiU menu just like any normal WiiU title? The guides i have found say to partition my hard drive for WiiU and Wii games and install like a normal hacked Wii like i'm some some caveman from 2006, which would be a pain.

Sorry to bring this up, but are you literally talking about the disc? I ask because there is no official VC, and injections don't seem to be able to get past entering the player's name. Direct me the right way if I'm wrong.

There are three ways to play Animal Crossing: City Folk on the Wii U:
  1. Retail disc
  2. Using a USB loader on the vWii
  3. Using a VC inject
A Wii Remote is required, or you will have issues like the one you described.
