Hacking 2DS isn't booting anymore (infinite Blackscreen)

1. Thats totally right. 11.2 Backup -Update-> 11.6 (but no backup)
2. Now, is that backup going to do anything to luma? i mean, i have luma v9 with b9s and all that x_x

what happens if it fails? because it tells me now that this *could* damage my system data x_x

Your system data is already damaged. It wouldn't matter if it failed, as the system would still be in the same state as it is now.

Quick question: Do you know what could have caused the fw-break/brick/thing? btw Sucessfully restored says Godmode

It worked! I'm in my home menu on v11.6 (i expected a downgrade by restoring but hey, its working!)
All my Games are presents now lol soo.. happy opening presents event for like 1 Hour xD

Did you mess with the themes at all? Even the official ones? I thought my son's 2ds was bricked because it was doing this too, it turns out it was just hanging really bad because he changed the theme.

I've been using the same theme as always. (Zelda 20th Anniversary Official) Used it on 11.2 and after the 11.6 Upgrade (see my first thread. ) I think it was CHMM because CHMM is messing with the home menu, which was probably corrupted. I've uninstalled it and i'm using Anemone 3DS now. So I guess using CHMM on 11.6 will corrupt the home menu. Note that this is just a theory so don't rely on it ^^ Did you manage to fix your 2DS after that?
