I was wondering if this patch works on a cia´s file of the game. I mean, I think It doesn't... I've been reading a lot on this post to get an answer but as I'm not sure anymore... I decided to creat an acount just to ask this and to be sure. And if so, I would like to ask for a how to for this.

It works on the CIAs. I don't know how you came to the conclusion that it doesn't work on them.

In the first page someone says :
"Nice work! Could you also post an xdelta or whatever version for us CIA users, please?"
And they reply "I... don't know how to do this."

Well, thanks for the answer though. I downloaded the file but I don't know where should I put the "roomfs" on the sd and what should I do next... Sorry for bother you with this but could you land me a hand on this one? (I'm using Luma)

Well, if you're using Luma CFW, there should be a folder on the root of your SD card called "Luma". You'll want to put that folder and all related files in the directory Luma > titles > [your game's title ID. The included README should tell you which yours is] > romfs.

EDIT: And make sure game patching is enabled in Luma's configuration menu.

Hi! I’m running into a little issue here. Sorry if it’s been answered already.. there’s 100 pages!

So, I’m able to s support the same sex pairings, but no s rank dialogue plays! At first I was like, huh, ok maybe no ones done Hana and Sakura yet.. but. I checked and That was the first one written! Any ideas of what I did wrong/what I can do?

Is there any way to download the additional paths without updating? Each time I try in-game I get an error code telling me the connection timed out due to user inactivity. And of course they aren't downloadable from the normal eshop as far as I can tell.

Just use the Special Edition CIA if you have CFW. That way you don't need to download the paths nor update.

I ended up just installing Luma and all that jazz. Though admittedly I don't know what that changes- I just followed a guide. Do I need to change anything else to make the hack work?

--------------------- MERGED ---------------------------

Oh and I wanted to know because I already have a hard copy of Conquest and a DL code for Revelation

Well, you installed the easiest method for making the hack work. In your Luma settings, you need to enable "Enable game patching" (hold Select when you boot your system to change your settings). Follow the instructions in the download in the first post for proper file placement for the Luma option.

@KunoichiZ

Do you think that’d fix my issue? I have a conquest cart but have cfw as well. So maybe installing the special edition would make it work..?
You can always give it a shot. I haven't used a proper Birthright/Conquest cart in awhile since I've discovered the Special Edition. It just makes things easier.

There...don't seem to be instructions for that. It just says "you probably know how to do this". I admit to feeling a bit silly :P

1. Download the hack and extract it.
2. Navigate to the folder where you choose between the HANS version, Luma version, and NTR CFW version. You want the Luma version so you'll go into that folder.
3. Look at the Region and Game List .txt to determine which folder to use. Then on your SD card, make this folder structure: SD:/luma/titles/, SD:/ is your SD card root.
4. Move the folder you need to use into that titles folder.
5. Make sure you have "Enable game patching" enabled in your Luma settings, start your game, and start a new save file (Branch of Fate works). If you see S ranks, you've installed the hack correctly.

I did decompress before applying, and I used the GameData.bin from the Gamedata folder. Did I have to use the one from the m folder or something?
Eh, I think I did something wrong with decompressing and compressing the .bin file, but I tried again and now it works. Thanks anyway.

Hello everyone! So, I literally hacked my 3DS just yesterday, one of the reasons being so that I could finally play this Gay Fates hack that I've watched lots of videos of on youtube.
So I tried my hand at patching this in, first with NTR which seemed to work fine, but I found it kinda annoying to turn on NTR everytime, so I deleted that and tried the luma version and this one seems to be working fine as well, except...
In both of these versions, when I got to My Castle for the first time to try out some support conversations, I had unlocked Sakura's and Felicia's support. Great! But when I tried it out, it just skipped through the conversations and gave me the C rank.
Is this supposed to happen? Also, another weird occurrence is in my support log where for some reason I have some C supports for Ike, Lucina, Robin and Charlotte unlocked, which is strange, since I'm playing Birthright and I haven't even dabbled in Amiibo (these conversations just skip through as well of course). I'd really like some help with this issue.
I'm playing Special Edition Europe if that helps any.

Edit: Also, from what I can see from the silhouettes, it looks like every single character has a support with every other character, which just shouldn't be true right? I mean, according to the support list, Sakura has supports with the Amiibo characters, which just shouldn't be possible, right?

As far as I know this happens because while the support option technically exists, the conversation text files do not. If it's one you know has been released, check UnassumingVenusaur's tumblr page to see if there's an individual download.

Ooh, I see, I just looked through the list on her tumblr and I suppose the ones under implemented are the ones that are actually in text form so far? I guess I'll just have to pay attention to the characters I pair up so I don't waste time on grinding for non-existent conversations. Weird way to go about all this tho, but thanks for the advice! Seeing as the randomly unlocked Charlotte x Rinkah C support conversation worked just fine, I guess I've got no other issues.

I really don't want to double-post, but nobody's replied since my last problem so..
I've run into another snag, a really annoying one. Getting children seems impossible for me. I tried the 'all paralogues unlocked patch'. I applied the patch to the gamedata.bin.lz in my luma folder like the readme said, but that just made the game crash the next time i ran it, good thing I remembered to make a backup.
I also tried the rom hacking way, but I ran into several problems with that one. First off, I was supposed to decompress the gamedata.bin.lz from my luna folder after doing some stuff, but apparently it's already decompressed so I don't know if that affects anything or not. Secondly, the offsets for the characters that UV posted didn't contain the bytes 01 or 00 like they were supposed to. Azama's was supposedly 00001770, but none of the bytes in that row didn't have anything like that. Is it that that guide is just outdated now or are all the offsets different between versions of the game, cause I noticed that all the bytes between the luma patch that I tried hacking and the file she was hacking in the guide were all completely different.

Replace your gamedata.bin.lz with the one in this post:

If you want the game to recognize any kids as siblings, use Silent Hell's' cheat plugin with NTR:
