Hacking [RELEASE] S.O.S. - A simple tool that will help you if you have an emergency on HENkaku Ensō 3.65

This is a very simple and quick tool I made for use in case of emergency.

----- What it does?
*** In small words:
-It Installs VitaShell 1.82 on HENkaku Ensō 3.65
-It Replaces and/or Fixes the VitaShell's "eboot.bin"
-It Enables a FTP Server
*** In details:
-It installs VitaShell 1.82, in case you accidentally delete it.
-It updates VitaShell to v1.82, in case you forget to update it before updating your PSVita to HENkaku Ensō 3.65.
-It downgrades VitaShell to v1.82, if the newer version fails, let's get back.
-It corrects a damaged VitaShell installation.
-It allows you to browse your Memory Stick from your PC over FTP.

This application works totally offline.

If you are on 3.60, I recommend you to install this application before updating to HENkaku Ensō 3.65 (even before updating VitaShell to 1.82 or newer).
If you are on 3.65, install it and keep it safe inside a bubble or something. Just put it in a place you will not delete it accidentally.

1-Enable Unsafe Homebrew
2-Run S.O.S.
3-Fellow the on-screen instructions

Q-Why VitaShell 1.82? There is a newer version available.
A-VitaShell 1.82 is the one TheFlow said is "the" version you must have before updating and required to avoid issues. It is actually a very well tested version. Newer versions could have issues. This is a way to stay safe. Once you are on v1.82, you can easily update to a newer version.
Q-I see there's a Spanish translation inside the application... can I make a ***** translation?
A-Yes, just translate every text you see on the pictures inside "L01" and the text inside the "template.xml". Then send me your translation ( [email protected] ) and I will release a new version with your translation included.

It is made in LUA, so... yes
Just edit the script.lua inside the VPK

If you don't have, you can créate a github, librero or other service account for the translations or another improvements.

EDIT: If i understand clearly, the eboot.bin inside the VSBACKUP Directory is the eboot from vitashell 1.82, so, if i change it for the vitashell 1.83 eboot.bin and compile, this would install vitashell 1.83, true?

I suppose it's only for people who, have this installed already, but somehow managed to accidentally uninstall both vitashell and molecularshell

If you factory reset then this tool will be lost. If you want to keep homebrew after factory reset, I recommend installing HBInjector which installs VitaShell to the system (vs0)

i Suppose to .....well first i will try to update my 1000 when i have an original MC ...and later i will put this 2 softwares in it

Is this application installed to your memory card or to the system? If it's installed to your memory card, then if the memory card goes bad you'll lose access to Vitashell and this at the same time.

Also, doesn't HBInjector make this pretty much obsolete?

it's installed to ux0. It'll be lost if you format the Vita or memory card.

I have updated to henkaku 3.65 wıthout orıgınal memory card .psvita is a 1100 model. Can I install vitashell 1.83 backup made by qcma also without using original memory card ? hbinjector dissapeared(Vitashel 1.83 instead of NEAR) after flashing henkaku 3.65

Yup, you can recovery the vitashell backup to reinstall it.

The problem is that 1k modeles dont give access to internal memory .I ve tried qcma - but vita says to insert the original memory card .Because ux0 is missing after flashing Henkaku Enso 3.65 on 1k ps vita

installing 3.65 reflashes all system apps, resetting them to stock

it is supoused to be installed before even updating to 3.65Enso
you must have this installed before losing it
it is like a first aid kit in you bag when going camping
